It's become an essential garden cleanup tool for me. One job that it really shines at is removing weeds that grow between sidewalk cracks. The mini-hedge trimmer is good for trimming some shrubs having small-diameter branches.I'm not absolutely positive, but it looks like the blades come apart for sharpening when the time comes.

Cuts pretty well with a charged battery. Gets stuck sometimes but overall worth the money

Product falls apart after just a few uses (less than 3 hours). The cutting head is held to the handle with cheap plastic clips so the two pieces either get jammed together and won't come apart, or they fall apart and won't stick together. I was able to prolong the very short life of this tool by adding my own screws, but now I can't change blades.

This trimmer is a very nice size. Easy to use. I have a larger Ego hedge trimmer which works well for our larger shrubs. This is so much easier to use on the smaller shrubs. Since we already have a varity of DeWalt tools, no new batteries were needed.Overall, pleased with this hedge trimmer.

Cuts fairly well for the price. I had my own batteries or probably wouldn't have paid a higher price for it. Only real objection is the location of the safety button. Hand gets tired quickly when pushing down the handle and button at the same time to operate it. I rate it a 7 out of 10.

The vendor is clear that you need your own Dewalt battery, but these work ok for small clipping jobs for a typical home garden. Big hedges, larger jobs: get bigger ones.
