VERY study - there's some "heft" to this one. When open to its fullest position, will hold and average amount of napkins (3" worth - not compressed). The holder will close to a smaller opening by pulling on either side - as if to "collapse" the thing flat like a cardboard box. That way, as napkins are used, the holder can be made smaller to keep them tight and upright. Really ingenious. Oh. And nice looking, too! Definitely a brushed nickel finish with black. Little rubber feet on the bottom.

Well yes! I read tons of reviews because that's what I DO! I use rectangular napkins and this is perfect for them. As the supply diminishes the holder will adjust (with your help). This is sturdy, well made. has rubber feet so as not to mar your counter or table, and it's sleek & attractive. I can't ask for more......except that I'm trying to track down the paper towel holder to match. I'm impressed with the quality of this brand so I will persevere.

Looks great and is sturdy, but it doesn’t stretch open and closed easily. I really have to work at it to squeeze it closed tighter in order to hold my napkins up.

Very high quality and easy to use

It looks great, the black matches my kitchen accessories, and the napkins never fall over because the mechanism tightens up for fewer napkins. Great design.

Excellent, just what I was looking for!!

I had high hopes for this but it's incredibly wobbly. It's also got heft to it so when it tips over it makes quite a thunk on our wooden table. Had to send it back because, with a toddler around, I would be jumping constantly at the heavy thunks from falling over. Your dining table is the last place you want things constantly tipping over.

We like the style of it. We have an oxo one that grips the napkins securely, but it looks a little weird. This one is quite nice looking, but the function didn't exactly match expectations. You either have to stuff it really full of napkins to hold them securely, or the two sides have to be really out of alignment to the point it feels like the napkin holder will fall over. that said, we use it and it looks nice on the table.

I wanted something to hold disposable hand towels in our powder room. The counter is too small for a traditional paper hand towel tray, so this napkin holder is the perfect solution. I was worried it would not be stable enough for paper hand towels which are thicker than regular napkins, but it's very sturdy and never tips when we pull out the towels. Elegant modern contemporary design and a space saver - it looks great in our space!

Smaller than expected and require smaller size napkins

Dieser Quetschserviettenständer ist fantastisch! Ich liebe sein schlichtes Design mit der Farbkombination aus Schwarz und Kobalt, er passt perfekt in meine Küche und mein Esszimmer. Der Metallsockel ist superstabil und der weiche Gummiarm hält die Servietten perfekt an Ort und Stelle, ohne sie zu zerquetschen. Außerdem verhindern die rutschfesten Gummipolster an der Unterseite, dass er auf dem Tisch herumrutscht. Ein paar Tipps: Ich empfehle, ihn nicht mit zu vielen Servietten auf einmal zu überladen. Wenn Sie das tun, kann es passieren, dass beim Herausziehen einer Serviette ein ganzer Haufen gleichzeitig herausfällt, also ist es besser, ihn weniger überfüllt zu halten. Außerdem sieht es viel besser aus, wenn Sie 16 cm x 35 cm große Servietten anstelle von 35 cm x 35 cm verwenden. Leider hatte ich für das Bild nur große Servietten. Insgesamt ist er sowohl stilvoll als auch praktisch, genau das, wonach ich gesucht habe. Dieser Serviettenhalter verleiht meiner Tischdekoration eine schöne, saubere Note. Verdient definitiv 5 Sterne!
