An Excellent, Dependable Laptop Cooling Device
I’m running a kinda old Lenovo P15 Gen 1 with an Intel i9-10885H, 128GB of RAM, 2 NVMe SSDs, and a Quadro RTX 3000 GPU, all of which generate a significant amount of heat under heavy workloads. Since using the llano v12 laptop pad cooler, I’ve seen my GPU temperatures drop consistently by around 10-15°C, which is a notable improvement and makes extended sessions far more comfortable. The airflow can be clearly felt, and the fan goes all the way to 2800 RPM, which is LOUD. The USB ports are a nice addition too; providing extra ones that I don't even need, but are good to have, since I have a Thunderbolt hub. The build quality of the cooler is excellent, and while I did experience a small rattling noise in the first unit I received, it never once impacted the cooler’s functionality. Llano Tech Shop promptly addressed the issue with genuine hospitality and care, helping me out with my issue swiftly. Their customer service left a positive impression and I will certainly be back to purchase more of their items if I need them again! Overall, if you need an effective, reliable way to keep a high-performance laptop running cooler, the llano v12 laptop pad cooler is an excellent choice. P.S. You can even turn the RGB off for all you RGB haters.

Very impressive
Was skeptical about buying this because of its size and price. I had a small, simple, usb powered 3-fan cooler that I was using which was fine. I don't know how effective it was but it was better than nothing, I suppose. I was worried about the hooks that grasp the laptop near my wrists being an issue. However, thanks to the replies of a number of other users, that is not a concern. I don't even use them as the memory foam gasket is sufficient to hold the laptop in place. This thing can move a ton of air. It can be noisy when you have it wound up, but I usually keep it at 500 rpm. You can hear it, but it's not offensively loud. It keeps the laptop cool during gaming with no concern whatsoever. It requires a DC jack which I didn't think about. It's not a concern for me, just something I did not consider. It's nice to have so many extra USB ports, even if I'm not really using them. It is thick, but the payoff is well worth the extra size. I should have bought this ages ago; it does a fantastic job.

Works really well!!
I have a Dell G7 15. They are known for getting super hot, like burn you fingers hot. Even after getting new cooling gel for it. I did try a couple other cheaper ones, but they didnt help too much. I initially passed up this one because I was worried about wasting money. This is worth every penny! My laptop is cool to the touch and I can turn the graphic up without it over heating! So happy I got this! I don't mind it being kindah loud because I know its working! I have dropped it a couple times and its still fine! It has been working great for the 5 months I have had it too! This is a great cooling pad!

Simply works
So, I'm lucky I work a 3rd shift job that allows me to use my Legion 5 gaming laptop for hours a night. As you can see, it is small enough to put into a book bag and take it with me. There are really only two choices if you want proper cooling of a gaming laptop, and thats either the llano or the iets gt500/600. I actually purchased the 500 and 600 but both were too large to bring with me on a regular basis. With the llano it is the perfect size for my 16in gaming laptop, and the cooler is small enough to travel to work as well. I have been using it for a few months now, and I love it. The fan can get a little loud, but I keep the fan around 1100 rpm, and it's quieter then my laptop fans on full blast. The llano keeps also keeps my temps while gaming under 70c on average, on both the cpu and gpu. Without it, the laptop averages around 80c. Which, for a gaming laptop, is still good temperatures. If I crank the fan to max rpms it keeps it around 65/60c while running prime95 which is amazing. While gaming temps never saw above 55c when it is running at max rpms. But, sadly, the fan is too loud at this speed unless I have headphones on. But because of my job, I simply cannot do that. So 1100 is a good sound to performance ratio. The lights are nice, I suppose, plenty of choices, and the build quality is solid. Yes, it's expensive, but if you are like me, and want to make sure your laptop lasts, I consider either the llano or iets coolers a must buy. Or, if your laptop is getting into the 90/100c while gaming because either your fans are dieing or thermal paste is drying up, this will extend the life span even further. I don't know what else needs to be said. Tldr; if you need PROPER cooling for your laptop, and your laptop has bottom ventilation (which is required) this will do it justice.

Effective cooling with strong airflow, but a bit loud
The Llano V12 RGB Cooling Pad does exactly what it promises — it keeps my laptop noticeably cooler during long gaming or work sessions. The 5.5-inch turbofan is powerful and moves a lot of air, which really helps reduce heat and prevent throttling on my laptop. The RGB lighting is a nice bonus for a gaming setup, and the pad itself feels solid and well-built. My only complaint is that the fan is quite loud at full speed, so it can be distracting in quiet environments. Overall, if your main goal is cooling performance and you don’t mind a bit of noise, this cooling pad is a solid choice for gaming laptops.

I picked up the llano RGB cooling pad and it’s been fantastic—definitely earns a full 5 stars. It keeps my laptop noticeably cooler during heavy use, which is exactly what I wanted. The fan is strong but not annoyingly loud, and the whole unit feels solid and well thought‑out. After using another cheaper cooler that actually blew dust into the laptop and didn’t really cool it, this one is a night‑and‑day improvement. The touch controls, LCD, and RGB lighting are nice extras, but the real highlight is how effectively it moves air into the laptop. It also works across a wide range of laptop sizes, so I don’t have to worry if I ever switch machines. Overall, it’s the best fan I’ve tried so far.

The Llano RGB Laptop Cooling Pad is an undeniably powerful piece of equipment, and it lives up to its promise of significant cooling for gaming laptops. However, it's crucial to understand that "powerful" here often equates to "loud" at its highest settings. This is a bulky unit, designed to deliver serious airflow, and its maximum cooling performance definitely comes with a considerable amount of noise. You'll want some good noise-cancelling headphones if you plan to push it to its limits. I personally use this with my 16-inch Lenovo Legion 7i, and it's a perfect fit for the cooler's generous top surface. It does an excellent job of keeping the laptop cool, which is vital for reducing the strain on the laptop's internal fans and, perhaps more importantly, preventing dust from being sucked up into the bottom vents and clogging the system. In my opinion, dust accumulation is one of the biggest long-term cooling problems for gaming laptops, and the Llano's "air chamber" design seems particularly effective at mitigating this. When I'm gaming, I typically find my sweet spot between 300-600 RPM. This range provides a great balance of effective airflow without the fan drowning out the game's audio. At these speeds, the sound is not unpleasant and is easily negligible over game speakers – my partner and I barely notice it. This makes it comfortable for extended gaming sessions without needing headphones purely for noise mitigation. Overall, while this is a pricier cooling pad, I believe it's absolutely worth the investment if you're looking for something truly efficient. The unique "air chamber" design ensures more air is directed through your laptop's cooling system, leading to genuinely lower temperatures and helping to prevent dust ingress. Just be aware that its size makes it less than portable – this is a cooling pad designed for a dedicated desk setup, not for throwing in a backpack. For the serious gamer or power user who values sustained performance and laptop longevity at home, the Llano RGB is a perfect, albeit stationary, companion.

My GPU was always at 90 degrees while rendering. Now it's at 66 degrees. But it comes with a price, noise. But you will find the point at regulating the fan intensity, you will not use it at full power all the time, I mean, what if my GPU is at 72 degrees instead of 66 degrees? I have tried many cooler pads, even the small exhaust on the side of the laptop, but nothing really worked. This does. I TOTALLY recommend it. I have a ROG STRIX SCAR II and no need to fry more eggs on it...
