Link Shades Electric Automated Blackout Roller Shades | WiFi Remote Controlled Motorized Blinds (72" W x 72" L, White)

Bought the 72 by 72 on march 2018. Worked until october 2018 then the control box died making the whole thing useless. Contacted their support and they sent out another box. New box died again in dec 2019. Been trying to contact their support again but they have not responded. In my opinion its not worth the price since the control box is cheap and will die out of the blue making the whole thing useless as you cannot use the blinds without the control box. Giving it 2 stars because it did work for about a year or so.

I was nervous with the product in the first few weeks as my schedule to open/close it daily was hit and miss. So my requirement is that the shade would close at noon and open at 7PM everyday. In the first few weeks, there was wifi resets and the website program sometimes doesn't do anything. I then created double schedule (2 close timer and 2 open timer) for everyday hoping it would do it consistently. I don't know what happened in between, but after these few weeks, the shade works beautifully every single day. Never miss a close or open again. I still keep my schedule as double doers. But I think they fixed the server, or doing something about it. So I am happy that it does the job nicely. I can monitor or control it why I am at work. The app and web site is simple and easy to use. The installation is also easy. I wish it is about 2 inch longer to cover my whole sliding door! The build and the rod looks great. I hope it will last a long time as it is expensive for doing a shading job.

These shades were fairly easy to install. Could not fit in window frame so attached to ceiling which works just as well. They block out light perfectly and are so nice to be able to relax in the am and remotely open your blinds to see what kind of day it will be. Would plan to put these in my other bedroom

I couldn't ask for more for what these cost. Installation is quite simple. It took me a while to figure out how the blinds snap into the bracket, but I'm a bit thick I guess. Functionally they seem flawless to me. Google home is not natively compatible, you have to use IFTTT which is fine with me.

The media could not be loaded.  Works well most of the time. Every few days disconnects for awhile and cannot work with the app or Alexa. Then appears to fix itself. Customer service is very very good.

This is an amazing product and so convenient when it works. Sometimes it doesn't want to do what you tell it or it will function even though Alexa will say it doesn't understand.

These shades are so cool. Have a shade hooked up to Alexa and IFTTT set to go up at sunrise and down at sunset. Can customize it in all kinds of ways with IFTTT.

I love my Link Shades, they were very easy to set up and work wonderfully. I use them every day and they easily connect with my Google Home Mini. Highly recommend this product.
