Very disappointed
Found this lacking in taste. Very disappointed especially as it had won a good taste award. Perhaps I was unlucky and had a dodgy bottle. Sauce also very thick, so nigh on impossible to get out of the bottle. Was so excited to try this, left feeling I had massively overpaid for a fairly tasteless sauce.

Not that banana”y”
A lovely ketchup which goes great with all sorts, especially with a bit of spice. Don’t be put off by the banana, it really doesn’t taste like banana. Loses a star for being too hard to get out of the bottle

A well-balanced flavour, this pairs so well with so many dishes. 5* for tropical deliciousness!
Well, this is certainly different, and pleasantly so, too. Truthfully, I was a little reticent about trying this, as I’m not a fan of anything banana-tasting, but my continuing lack of taste led me to take a leap of faith here in the hope of experiencing something with a little flavour. And, Boy, I wasn’t disappointed! Right now, I’m savouring this remarkable ketchup's subtle but pleasant flavour. First and foremost, it looks like ketchup, although lighter and slightly sweeter but with a very slightly thicker consistency, but most of all, I like how this doesn’t taste of Banana at all. I mean, they are in there somewhere, they must be, but they certainly aren’t overpowering! As a flavoured condiment, this is magnificent. It tastes like a wonderful spicy ketchup, with no banana taste at all. Very flavoursome, with a taste almost identical to tomato ketchup, quite simply, this is utterly delicious. It works for all the applications you might otherwise use tomato ketchup for, and in addition to this, you get so much extra flavour too! With its well-balanced flavour, this ketchup, pairs well with so many dishes, thus delivering a combination of sweet and spicy flavours that adds depth and gives such a pleasant kick. If you are looking for some “tropical deliciousness” to add a spark to what you might consider a boring, and bland meal, then look no further… THIS is delicious! So far, I’ve tried this on a sandwich, and my partner has tried this on a burger… I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to try this on other dishes. This is a great alternative to regular ketchup, and in my opinion, this punchy sauce is infamously addictive and will undoubtedly make a memorable event out of any meal. I am delighted with this, and I thank you for the opportunity to try this AMAZING Banana ketchup!

Doesn’t taste like ketchup, doesn’t taste like bananas.
Being a lover of bananas, I was first attracted to this sauce when I saw a bottle on a shop shelf. But it wasn't quite what I expected. It was a revelation. Its taste was a great surprise and took my banana enjoyment to whole new level. It is now a permanent feature in my kitchen cupboard. It has a tangy banana flavour that is both distinctive and subtle at one and the same time. It compliments a wide range of foods and dishes, adding a distinctive edge to simple things like chips and fried/roast chicken and to stronger flavoured dishes like roast smoked gammon, fried liver, game and almost any BBQ item. And, unlike other ketchups, e.g. tomato ketchups, it takes a very very small amount to impact wonderfully on each mouthful. And don't assume RoniB’s Kitchen Banana Ketchup is just for banana lovers. It takes the banana to a whole new level of distinction that everyone can enjoy.

Nice but not the price.
The price for the size of product. Used it on ribs.

Needs a squeezy bottle or wide necked jar
This ketchup is so thick and viscous, it's literally impossible to get out the narrow-necked bottle no matter how vigorously you shake it. The best I could do is to waggle a wooden skewer in to try to tease small amounts out. It needs to be presented either in a squeezy bottle, or preferably in a wide necked jar that you can get a spoon into and transfer a dollop to a dipping bowl. I have to say that I don't find this a very exciting ketchup. The main ingredients are tomato and banana, and that's what you get, basically tomato flavour with a bit of banana sweetness but the tomato dominates. It's not really floating my bot. To be perfectly honest I wouldn't get any more even if it was presented in a squeezy bottle or jar.
