Easy and seems like it’s really going to work
Second night using and I have already gotten it down. Using the rose water to wet them works perfectly. One or two spritzes and a few seconds of waiting for tackiness, or rubbing it in with finger and they are ready to stick. They definitely prevent my face from moving! When I laugh with them on my eyes can’t squint/crease. And when I took them off, my forehead stayed like still for a while because the muscles hadn’t moved in hours. Didn’t realize how much your face moves at night I guess. I am almost 30 and have been wanting to do something about forehead lines before they got bad. They are noticeable already so hopefully these will improve them and prevent further deepening of them. And don’t really have the crows feet yet unless I am actively smiling but once again getting ahead of them! Excited about frownies. I use 1 1/2 of the squares a night so they will last approximately a month I think. So it’s about a $25 a month cost. Not horrible but also kinda think they could make them a little cheaper cause the package says “Kraft paper with adhesive” is the contents haha.

Better than the rectangle box
After watching a video on Facebook, I realized I was applying my frownies incorrectly, taking way too long applying them and over-wetting them. After one application using the rose water and applying them correctly (spreading the lines apart and holding the skin), I saw results the next morning! Now I am finally more dedicated to doing my nightly skincare because I want to tighten my forehead and no longer rely on Botox! Definitely buy the square box; the patches in this box seem to sit better on the face, plus it includes the corners of mouth patches.

Garbage
This product is absolutely a ridiculous waste of money. The patches are made out of paper, they are stiff and perforated like art paper with a very substandard adhesive which lends them to not sticking on your face. I could not get these things to stay on my face, and even if I could have the texture of the paper would have been very uncomfortable. The benefit that you might get from using these would not be anywhere near worth of money you're going to spend over a long-term. Even if they did work. You better off just going and get some Botox you'll save money. Only good thing I can say about this company is that they immediately returned my money when I initiated a return and gave me no hassle. I didn't even have to return the product, hence, the one star.

Pros & cons of patches
Pros- they do work temporarily; just as advertised but it requires EVERY night usage.CONS: 1. they smell TERRIBLE. There’s this faint chocolate smell but it is overpowered by the gross adhesive smell that is activated when you get the patches wet. It is foul, and it lasts until the adhesive dries the patches on your face. So your face has this unpleasant odor for a while - as long as it takes for patches to completely set up and harden.2. You cannot use any moisturizer at all in the areas where near you apply the patches. They will not stay in place overnight. They might stick for awhile but they won’t last overnight. The adhesive just won’t stay adhered to skin long enough to work as advertised.3. The target audience is older crowd. That being said, if you have any hand mobility issues, these patches might be difficult to manipulate and hold in place until they set up. The marionette lines from nose down to jaw line require several different patches on each side and TIME to put on where you want them. You have to hold/stretch your skin as you apply the patch and then hold skin until patch hardens up enough and doesn’t slip when you let go. This may prove to be too cumbersome for some people. Plus the smell… The company videos I watched to see how to apply the patches don’t paint a realistic picture of what you have to go through for this area. On the plus side…. I notice a difference every morning in the lines as long as they stay on all night. I also bought the patches for between the eyebrows lines and those are MUCH easier to put on! They also work as advertised and I see a difference each morning with the softening of the lines.4. Reality check: what I never considered until I applied the patches that first night…. So you come out of the bathroom with all these patches on your face, smelling foul….( Partner looks at me like I’ve lost all sense and I’m thinking that I don’t look (or smell) that great right now. 🙈🙈🙈). I didn’t consider that aspect or impact of what I look like going to bed every night. Also this: my skin color is barely lighter than the patch color and my bangs cover up the between-the-eyebrows triangle patch pretty well. But people who have darker colored or lighter toned skin, these patches will really show up/contrast skin tone! Something to consider before buying. The company should offer different tones of patches. Also you can’t really talk much once these harden because you don’t want them to become loose or detach anywhere.Overall, these patches seem to temporarily soften lines when applied properly. I’ve yet to reach the 30 day mark where you are suggested to wear them only a few times per week, so I’ve been wearing the eyebrow one every night and I see good results so far. Every morning the line is definitely softer, so I do think that the eyebrow patches are worth what I paid. I will keep using those. BUT- the jury is still out on the marionette lines patches. It’s a lot of effort and time to apply those correctly for each side, not to mention the smell (and then there’s the plus of conjuring up images of Frankenstein in my partner’s mind each night when going to bed).🤣If you’re wanting to try these, I would suggest the “between-the-eyebrows” patches. They are easier to manipulate (and not too obvious). You can also try one of the triangles on your marionette lines to see how you like it. I bought both types and they are very similarly cut patches. The eyebrow patches are very easy to pull apart while the other type patch has some more intricate pull apart lines to deal with.

Works well but they’re expensive
They stick well to your face but it is expensive because they’re not reusable

Buy these! You won’t regret it!
I’m not one to usually leave a review, but I had to for this product! I was hesitant to try these because most of the reviews I saw the forehead lines didn’t seem as deep or “bad” as mine. I’ve tried so many different creams to get rid of my forehead lines and nothing has worked….. until now! The pictures I’m posting are 4 days apart. The first picture was on October 12th before applying frownies for the first time. The second picture is from October 15th before applying them for the 4th time. Both photos are free of photoshop, filters and makeup (minus the mascara). I couldn’t believe my eyes when I compared the 2 pictures. I will 100% continue to purchase and use frownies.
