Exactly what I needed. Compact, yet sturdy.

Very sturdy. My son wants to be Mothra for Halloween this year. As a Godzilla fan, I support this decision, even if it means some people will think he's a butterfly. I ordered set of isis wings in a butterfly shape. When these and the wings they hold up arrived, I gave them over to him. They have thus far survived all his escapades, including Mothra/Godzilla "battles" with his 4 year old brother. I'm happy with them.

I like them a lot!! I can put them at the length I want and they are not heavy at all. I recommend it.

I read a review before purchasing that said something about not even being able to beat a teenager off with these. I laughed, said that's not what they're for, and bought them. By the end of the evening, one was bent (my bad, but so easily done!) and the other was noticably bowed. For my Halloween purposes, they worked alright. For a dance production, you will want something more sturdy. So I repeat the previous commentor's sentiments but update for accuracy: these will not stand up to beating off a peaceful squirrel but they will hold your beautiful wings out long enough to make a victory lap before the battle.

This is the best choice in portable Isis wing stacks. They are not too heavy and have a good grip. Other ones I have purchased retract when not wanted and are too heavy that’s hurting the grip.
