ROCK SOLID mount
This is a great mount for my Helix 10. I never have any issues with or doubt about it holding my fish finder safely.I was able to mount this to my kayak by making a custom mount to fit on the existing gear tracks.Basically I used UHMW (it's like a cutting board material) and cut out a small section and used gear track mounts through the board and then attached this to the board. Other kayak mounts were too flimsy to give me confidence that the finder wouldn't move or fall into the water.

Perfect mount and prices.
I’ve always been a Ram mount person but had to switch because of limited space and need some thing easily removable. Accidentally ran into this type and love it so much. Very good quality and prices is very reasonable.

Designed for large units. Smaller, cheaper mounts available for smaller units.
I have other Johnny Ray mounts for smaller electronics.Upgraded to this one to use with a Humminbird Helix 10. Works perfectly.

Perfect larger sonar units.
I was using the basic Johnny Ray mounts for my bow mount sonar, but as the size of the units grew the larger unit was needed. Very solid, handles a Helix 10 perfectly.

Johnny Ray Better Tehran RAM
I have owned Johnny Ray in the past. Nice product. Took my first trip with it. Solid. Did the job. Like the easy detach/swivel. If it works for your application much better than RAM
