Heavy-duty frost blanket.
Nice, heavy frost blanket. A local supplier of quality garden supplies carried 1.5 oz blankets, so that set my benchmark for weight. Most on Amazon are much thinner, but this one at 1.77 oz had the thickness I wanted. Although not indestructible, it is very sturdy and will not fail with normal care. I use this when the temp goes into the 30s for sensitive fall/winter veggies in raised beds. Not sure that this actually keeps the temperature up though. It is a "frost" blanket, not a "freeze" blanket. I have a remote temp sensor in the raised bed that allows continuous monitoring indoors at the base station. The temp inside the blanket has been no different from outside. Nighttime moisture does accumulate on the outside of the blanket, so that will stop frost from forming on the plants which can be damaging, but those sensitive to below freezing temperatures will likely not benefit. When using the blanket, I'm also putting a small temperature-controlled string of incandescent outdoor Christmas lights which produce about 170 watts total of heat to keep the bed temperature at least above freezing. It is controlled by a temperature controller inside a waterproof box. I haven't had a sub-freezing temperature yet, so I'll see how well that works when it gets colder. I can add more heating as needed. But this is a high-quality, thick frost blanket that I recommend.2-month update: This has been working well. There have been temperatures to 24F and the bed stayed above freezing, about 33 degrees, so it works as well as I had hoped and as well as needed. These are the "heating" components I've used: 1. Brightown Multicolor Christmas Lights Ceramic, C9 25 Feet Vintage Incandescent Lights 2. DEWENWILS Digital Temperature Controller, Heavy Duty 15A/1800W Thermostat Outlet Plug 3. LeMotech Outdoor Electrical Box. For those in colder areas or larger spaces, a small heater or an additional light string might also be needed.

Thick, don't rip, lots of coverage
I've tried many row covers and have been very pleased by these. They are thick, so they don't rip, and they are long, so each sheet covers big portions of my garden. I cut some of these to cover smaller patches of veggies. Using these row covers, I kept my arugula, kale, and chard going until last week (I live in NJ), and finally harvested the last of the greens on January 17! I probably could have kept the garden going longer with these row covers (even though the temps are 5F in the mornings) but I decided I need a break from gardening for a couple of months before I do my spring planting.

Thick and durable. Easy to cut to size. Easy to work with.
Great fabric for protecting outdoor plants. Thick at 1.77 oz. Durable and holds up to multiple uses. Would like wider width to fit garden hoops better.

Works great
Durable. Excellent for winter growth tunnels. I have been able to grow salad greens year-round direct sow in northern Wyoming with this.

Best plant protection
It was easy to cut the exact size pieces I needed for my shrubs and outdoor plants. The quality of fabric is great, it is not thin, like most I’ve used in the past. We have below freezing temperatures all winter. I like that with (homemade) arches I easily covered the shrubs along our driveway, using one long piece of fabric. We live in a very windy area so I used landscape staples to secure and it seems to be working fine. I’ll keep the fabric pieces I used this year for next winter.

Good quality
This frost blanket is perfect for our needs. We'll use it for covering plants in the greenhouse and as a row cover next spring. It is thick and durable, so we'll be able to reuse it year after year. Highly recommend!

Good plant protection!
I liked that this could be left on for several days because the material could still receive sun and rain through the lightweight but protective fabric. It's good sized enough that it could be cut with scissors into smaller sizes. If so be sure to label the location where you want to use it, so it will be ready in the future to just place it there. The fabric appears to be somewhat porous (?) but still protect plants from the cold.
