"Challenge Panel Pins - Solid Brass (Folding Clam Pack) 20mm" are useful for a number of light tasks including picture framing, securing seals in door or window frames and anything similar. They may also be useful as a temporary means to hold something in place pending permanent securing by something else. Due to their yellow-gold colour, they may also have a decorative function.Purchased to replace some 'steel' ones of another brand that were slightly longer but also found to be of soft, low-grade metal and susceptible to bending even when using a light pin hammer; they were later discarded as unusable. These appear to be of good quality, are strong and naturally rust-free. A pin inserter may be another means to use them on a surface that isn't too hard.Supplied in a reusable pack and by weight rather than quantity. Ultimately, you will want (or need) to transfer the remaining contents to a stronger permanent container. They were delivered sooner than expected.
