Not what you think you're getting
I liked the suitcase aspect and the fact that it's 36V in a waterproof case. I'm using this with a Newport NK300 so I'm thinking, hey, this will give me range. It's heavy but not as heavy as three 100AH lifepo4 in series. I've used it for a few trips and never got to the very bottom of the battery charge. Closest I've gone is down to 36V. As I'm full electric on the water I'm pretty conscious of this. What I don't like though is there is a surface charge of ~ 43.8V. which indicates it's full. 30V means it's empty. The NK300 has a throttle controller that shows the remaining battery charge. Once the surface charge burns off I'm quickly from 43.8V (I fully charge it until it's loaded in the boat when I'm going out. So it's full charge) to 40V. This made me curious. Even leaving the box alone for two days I can go back and see after a full charge (according to their charger) it will be 39.9 - 40V before it halts. So I cracked the box open. Pictures speak for themselves. You thought it was packed well, it's not. Hot glue on lithium battery pack. Minimal padding. In one picture you can see a series of LED's on a board (mother, daughter, hard to tell without really pulling it apart which was pointless to me) that are all turned on and running all the time. This a drainer of the battery. The blue lights are on the BMS board (with a little curiousity you can go to DHGATE and see for yourself). Of course and I haven't checked this, it is possible it is bluetooth as well because if you go to DHGATE you can find this battery listed on there and there is a bluetooth option it can ship with. That's definitely going to cause quite a drain on the battery because it's constantly broadcasting. I'd advise you to watch the voltage. It's getting hammered even when you don't use it. It's ridiculous. The idea was really great. I really loved the idea behind this. I was hopeful. But it's just not there. It's a disaster for $1K and minimal use. Extremely disappointed. I will have to see about returning this because it's not acceptable. Edit: I am outside the return window. So if you want to burn $1K you can definitely do it this way. The battery is a scrub for me. And I'm willing to bet it will be for you as well. Sometimes it's just worth paying the premium although I didn't know the premium that was on 36V batteries when I bought this. I'll likely just default to the newport battery for now. Out of everyone they are the most affordable for the AH and have a bluetooth in their suprisingly light battery block. I'd go through a dealer and not the manufacturer website for that of course. I may just rebuild the battery pack myself and do something different with the BMS at some point. The case already is drilled out saving me some time from getting it off of Harbor Freight and doing it myself.

Well suited powerplant option for your trolling needs.
Purchased this for my new Saturn 10 feet inflatable boat with Watersnake 34LB thrust trolling motor. The motor was rated to run for 60 AMPH but this battery was doubling that for longer run time. It was great to see high AMP battery option included as trolling ready waterproof package with charger. The battery arrived well packed with all accessories. Probably it was precharged so didn't take much time to fully charge. All the accessories and input/output ports worked as expected. The quality of casing and internal components looked very well. The included ports are similar or better than most of the high end battery boxes out there hence you save a lot of money in buying this separately. It is heavy but size is manageable for a small boat or kayak based applications. I have taken it for trolling at full throttle speed for almost 1.5/2 hrs and the battery charge did not deplete more than 25%. It says in the product description that the battery usage % may not be accurate so it is tough to know true usage. This is the only knock on this model. Hindsight I think I should have purchased model with bluetooth based battery capacity tracking app. I will try this out for a full day of operation to know if I am getting all advertised AMH and provide an update. I have added a 60 AMP circuit breaker and created a custom Anderson connection to connect to Trolling motor using provided connector. So far this has been a great experience. Buy with confidence.

GuaiGLong for the win
I can not express how much I am infatuated with this battery its light, powerful, durable, and water tight. I was so excited to try it out that I took my kayak out in 48 degree weather. It out preformed my expectations, out of the box it was a winner. I doubted this for a long time I stuck with lead acid and the weight alone should have been the kicker but when you eliminate 40 lbs it just changes the feel(Not to mention how much smaller it is in comparison). If you are on the fence about a battery look at these for the long run. Yes its a little pricey but worth every penny. It's capable of handling my garmin, fish camera, and lights. That brief 3 hour trip i stress tested the ever loving snot out of it and it didnt bat an eye. Now when the weather warms up and im taking it out more and more I will revist this review. But so far so good and I couldnt be happier. Not to mention the customer service guys keeping in contact. To your team at GuaiGLong thank you for offering this and I wil spread this info as far as I can.

Revival Story Continued
I received my battery in January this year (2024) Since I bought it to replace my older 36v Golf Cart batteries I wanted to wait until they died to install this new Lithium model. The battery arrived charged and I put it aside in the garage to store until I needed it. I didn't know that that could be a problem. Last week my original Lead Acid batteries pretty much finally died and I went to get the new one from the garage. The battery was so dead that the state of charge screen wouldn't light up. I measured the voltage and I only had 2.3v! Yikes. So now what? I tried to contact the manufacturer but didn't get a response right away. So I began to research what I could do. I learned that the BMS probably went into protection mode. I had to wake up the BMS. The charger that came with the battery didn't seem to work. I did succeed by using my original 36v batteries. The screen lit up which was half the battle but the 10A charger still didn't do anything. By then, the customer support did answer my Email and query through Amazon and said I did the right thing. He offered to send me a new charger but it would take about 20 days. I decided to connect the charger directly to the M8 terminals of the battery and not use the charging port ( see photo ) and the charging started instantly. Overnight the battery is now fully charged and appears to be holding. I don't know why this happened but I would definitely put a trickle charger on it if storing for long periods. Customer support was reassuring and stuck with me better than any I've had experience with. UPDATE 4/17/24: The battery is now installed in my EZ Go Golf Cart. Plenty of power and after a couple of days of normal use around the ranch the level of charge is still well above 36v. I also like the fact that there is 12v output available for the headlights. Again, the good customer support was key to my solving the problem. They also suggested that when storing, to make sure the state of charge screen is turned off. UPDATE: 7/15/24 I have been using the battery now for 3 months every day on the Golf Cart around the ranch. I get about a week of reliable use every charge. Lithium took a bit of getting used to as it will power the Gold Cart the same way right up until it doesn't. I have mounted the charger in the cart so in case it dies somewhere other than the garage I still have a chance of charging it up somewhere else. Also, I bought a Li-Time fast charger for it which kicks butt. Very happy with the battery.

Charge gauge problem.
The Li battery is "as advertised" AH capacity. The maximum discharge rate of 100A also appears to be correct. It should not be used to start a car, 250A, or run a heavy duty winch with about the same current draw. It is VERY GOOD if used below its max rating. More robust internal wiring could solve this performance condition. It takes a long time to "fully charge" from "completely discharged" with its own low amp charger, about 10 hrs. -120AH. When I hooked a more powerful charger up, the battery gauge permanently quit showing the "Percent Charge." Not a really big problem as the gauge continued to show voltage, which is an accurate indicator, provided you know its maximum and minimum voltage. The case, Pelican Box modified, is very good with great connectors and is water tight. All-in-all a good compact storage unit if used within its parameters, but I haven't hooked it up to my solar charging system yet.

Good to have
Owned for almost a year now. Will power a trolling motor for hours, powered lights, fans and charged our phones through the power outages from hurricane Helene. Has came in handy many times. Recently both the usb slots stopped working which was one of the main reasons I chose this particular battery, hence why it’s getting 3 stars instead of 5.

Excellent Battery!
I have purchased three batteries from GuaiGLong. A 60Ah, 80Ah, and the 300Ah. All of these batteries are working perfectly. We bought the first two for our kayak's trolling motor (dual battery setup). They worked so well, we bought the 300Ah battery which is working amazing, fits on the kayak perfectly behind the front seat (it's a tandem seat Brooklyn Kayak PK14), and powers the trolling motor, Garmin fish finder, and the navigation/anchor/etc lights. The last time we went out for 6 hours in high winds/waves with the trolling motor working full power (46Ah) most of the time. The battery had plenty of power left when we returned -- estimating we only used between 50-60% of the battery's capacity for those 6 hours. We are very happy with these purchases. Our original batteries we purchased (60Ah and 80Ah) are providing home backup power thru a 2KW inverter (for hurricane/storms/power-outages/etc). They are also working perfectly. This company knows its business and has a great product.
