Men's The Daddy-o Polo

I recently got a Prime Wardrobe box to try on some shoes & had an extra slot, so I decided to take a look at this polo. I had heard a lot of good things & some convincing advertising about the brand. I have to say I was surprised. I didn't think it would live up to the hype but it, mostly, did. For anyone who is particular as I am you may have found that companies have a hard time cutting a polo shirt to fit comfortably. The lapels are too large or the buttons too bulky, seems don't line up with natural body lines, etc. If I had to/could design a perfect polo, this would almost be it. Obviously, I would prefer a price point less than fifty dollars, but that aside I wish it wasn't a Chinese made product. A historic American brand at a medium-high price ought to be made a bit closer to home. It also ran a touch small, but that can be adjusted for if you know before ordering. Ultimately, I returned this item with some of the shoes I did not keep, but I wish I could have justified the price/issues. If I find myself with a bit of extra money & my regular polo shirt supply (Kohls) runs low or tiresome, I could surely see buying one of these.

Nice shirt, comfortable and has a relaxed fit like described. Only thing to note is the logo/patch looks pretty small in the pics but it's a pretty good size in person.

First of all, I paid $55 for this polo shirt because I desperately needed it for something at work, and at the time of this writing it's only $33. BS.The shirt is just as good as any Daddy-O polo from Penguin. The "classic fit" is best for those of us who actually have a torso and arms, unlike most of their "slim fit" shirts.I don't know what it is about this black shirt vs. the other colors, but it is an unbelievable lint magnet. I have to take a lint roller to myself five or six times a day when I wear this shirt, compared to maybe once with every other Penguin polo I own.Overall, if you want an Original Penguin polo shirt in Classic Fit in Black, this is the product for you. If you don't want those things, there are probably much better black polos to buy.

The cotton fabric of this shirt is very lightweight, which is fine by me. It also fits loose. Thus far I haven't seen any shrinkage so you might want to take that into consideration. I ordered 2XL, expecting some shrinkage so my shirt remains kind of big on me. That's okay, extra room under the shirt makes for more comfort in the hot, humid summers around here.Order a size down and you should be fine. Wash in cold water and dry on delicate to prevent any potential shrinkage.

These shirts are great for summer because they are lightweight but still excellent quality. I purchased two of them for my son for school uniform. He is 5'11" and about 165 and the medium fit him perfectly.

I'm a fan of the classic fit shirts much more than slim or athletic fits, and this manages the classic fit perfectly. I've always been a fan of the Penguin brand. Sometimes they're a little expensive but ultimately worth it. The Deep Lake color is really nice, too. Too bad I lost this to an ex... guess that means I'll have to buy another!

Got a very good deal on this to the point that I couldn't not buy it. It was my first Original Penguin shirt and now it's one of my favorite shirts. Extremely comfortable, feels quality and looks great. After wearing this shirt I immediately bought more in different colors.

Nice shirt but it stretches out really easy. The material is too thin and has too much give. Halfway through the day the shirt is flapping around cause it stretched out so much. Too bad.

Kind of baggy and shapeless and disappointing from a brand I generally love. Nothing wrong with it per se but nothing outstanding about it either. Mediocre quality at a high price.... it went back.

After washing it , the shirt became really lose and unwearable. I didn’t expect this especially after paying a lot of money to get a fancy shirt but the quality is worse than a 5$ shirt

Material is excellent. Loved the color. Fits right, stretchable with comfort.
