Brilliant! Fantastic results and my go to DVD for holidays and special occasions
I love this workout. I often try new ones just to change things up a bit but I can honestly say that I go back to this DVD time and time again.Martine works her socks off and genuinely is challenged at times but keeps on going with you and that in itself keeps you motivated. The dancing instructor is brilliant - he is tongue in cheek at times but really passionate about the routine. The extras are funny and the diet advice is worth following to fast track your success. I love Martine - she is so beautiful but she is honest about the work she puts in to feel good about herself. she wanted to do a workout for women that really works and will stand the test of time and I have to say she has. It works. Thanks Martine -do another soon!

Cheap, fun & great!
I'm really surprised this has got such bad reviews, I think it's fantastic! As another reviewer mentioned it's not so much a dance dvd as workout dvd to get a dancer's body. The instructor is hilarious his campness kept me laughing and martine is quiet most of the time and just lets him instruct. I like the fact it's broken down into different sections such as upper body, lower body, etc because if you want you can just target specific areas. It may not be to everyone's taste but I think it's a great dvd and if you buy from a seller your going to end up paying less then £2 for it like I did, so what have you got to lose but the weight! ;)

Good low impact workout - best for beginners
I had this DVD a few years ago and enjoyed it at the time, then I got rid of it when I had a big clearout. Fast forward a few years and I wanted to re-start a fitness regime and this DVD sprung to mind as the best place to start so I brought it again! The first thing to say is that yes, the title is a bit misleading. This is NOT a dance workout. However other than that, I think it's good. The sections are all fairly short (10-15 mins), the instructor is not patronising and Martine is her usual down to Earth self. You can choose individual sections too so you don't have to do the whole DVD in one go. If I only have 30 minutes I do the warm up, the cardio twice and then the upper body toning or the abs sections. Most of the DVD is very low impact and there are two good stretching sections as well as the cool down. There is only one aerobics section which is 10 minutes long - I tend to do this twice to get a bit more of a workout. This is definitely a DVD for people who find high impact bouncy routines a bit intimidating or inaccessible and who want to improve their whole body flexibility, and it's totally suitable for beginners. I am relatively unfit but I find this DVD achievable - although I am nowhere near as flexible as the dancers on there! The set and the music are gimmick free and not cheesy, and don't detract your attention from the workout.Overall, a good one, but not if you want a really intense or high calorie burning workout.

Just ok
Wasnt too impressed with this DVD unfortunately. I love Martine and thought I'd love her dance DVD but just found it a bit boring. Shame

It's ok,
It's ok, but I did the whole hour and didn't feel as 'worked out' as I do when doing my half hour other routine

One of my all time faves!
If you want a good exercise DVD that really get's the heart rate going, is suitable for all levels of fitness and even those with two left feet, then this is a good choice for you. This is my second copy of the DVD and I've had it since it first came out and find it brilliant, whether you want to do the whole thing in one go, or target toning which is what I do a lot. I LOVE the arm section - it really works and no weights needed. All you need is a mat or towel for the floor work. It helped me shed two dress sizes before so I will definitely be using it to tone up again.

Erm instructions please trainer???
I have only done a couple of sections of this dvd, I watched it once through to start as I do with most workout DVDs so I don't have to constantly look at the screen but even so with this instructor I still really did. He doesn't run through any of the moves beforehand or tell you what is coming up until they are already doing it. At one point he shouts 'hip rolls' to which I was pretty sure I knew what they were but apparently they are circling your hips while side stepping, then walking forwards and throwing your whole body forward like you want to smash your legs in with your head!! But still the only instruction you ever get is 'hip rolls'!With regards to Martine I read another reviewers comments that they didn't believe she actually did this as her workout - and I agree by the way she looks knackered all the way through it. The only things she ever says (rather than ever saying anything encouraging to the audience) is 'ouch', 'oh no' or 'i'm a beginner i'm done now' when the instructor tells her what's next, but I'll grant her it's with a smile on her face (a very strained smile!)If you don't mind basically copying what you see rather than wanting any instructions then I'd say get it, the cardio section did get my heart rate going and I will probably use it again in the future if only for that reason. I probably won't bother with the even trying to get through the toning sections and stick to other DVDs/exercises for that.
