This is very handy to have if you are struggling with congestion. Menthol crystals need to be used sparingly as strong. Does help to loosen mucus. Would like mask to be a bit more sturdy with a cushioned edge for face. I find it more convenient to use than sitting with a towel over my head with a bowl of hot water. Think it’s a safer option as well.

It's ok for the price. I like that's it's small enough to sit comfortably with it over your face instead of having to lean awkwardly over a bowl, and the added menthol salts are a bonus, however the design of the mask is poor. The holes in the side of the mask which I know are necessary for you to breath are far too big and positioned in the wrong place. They are too low down meaning the steam escapes through them first before even reaching your sinuses. I used this for the first time and the steam from the cup only lasted a few minutes.

As a woman who is used to sticking her head over a bowl for steaming, I wanted something more 'on the go' while I steamed. I read the reviews of the product and people saying it doesn't make enough steam...well, it makes the same amount of steam as any off the boil water would. The menthol is in crystal shards and looks like meth (so I'm led to believe) and my God it's strong. I started with about 4 shards and nearly blew my head off! I have now controlled the menthol measurements and find this a really easy to use tool. I had sinusitis and yes it does help and I can still watch crap on tv too! Infact, I'm currently sat on the garden getting some sun and inhaling away. Do I look like darth? Probably? Do I care? Nup! Cause the steam/menthol combo reduces inflammation. It's also good at hiding any mucus that dribbles out too. So I'll wave to my neighbours and enjoy the brief relief.

If you have ever used steam inhalation with a towel over your head this is a game changer. It's a well made compacyt steamer that you partly fill with quite hot water and drop in a very small methol crystal. The face mask fits firmly on the steamer and equally fits the face. Breath in gently, increasing as you go. Guarranteed to clear the sinuses and post nasal drip. Eases tthe chest. Well recommended.

Simple little cup,but it is good way to clear your nasal passage, easy to use.
