I love this blanket. At first, I didn't like it, I thought it was supposed to heat like a heating pad. I set it on the highest setting and after a few minutes, I was disappointed. Then about 15 minutes later, had to turn the setting down. I later found it, it is a general warmth throughout the blanket. It isn't necessarily hot to the touch in any particular area, but it will definitely warm you up, and quickly too. The blanket alone is warm without the heating element and very soft. I use it every morning, and while the heat settings go up to 10, I am fine with 4. 6 is even too warm for me. Now I just laugh at myself, 3 weeks ago when I thought about returning it because 10 didn't heat me up in 5 minutes. I have since bought two more as gifts for others.I will note that the foot pockets do not have heating elements surrounding them. The heating elements stop at around 6 inches to the edges of the blanket, so when your feet are in the pockets, they are not heated. The pockets are also very loose and baggy.

Saved me throughout the winter. I hate the cold and love heated and thermal everything.

I bought this for my couch in my living room. I have no idea why I have not done this sooner. Having a heated blanket on my couch is the greatest luxury of my life. I honestly have no idea how I lived without it before. This blanket is really good quality, it heats up fast, it’s super soft. The only problem is that the cord is a little bit awkward, and it does get warmer where the cord is then it does at the feet, which is fine with me because I don’t like my feet really hot, but if that’s your thing, this might not be great for you. But honestly, heated blanket on the couch is a must have.

I took the low reviews with a grain of salt, boy was that a mistake. I think this set a new record for instant irritation. While the blanket itself is soft, I already have throw blankets and was hoping this one would have heat. But unfortunately, it was broken from the moment it came out of the box. Maybe it’s user error, but I plugged it in, got a blinking message of “F2”, and none of the buttons work to try to change whatever that status means. I can’t turn it off, can’t turn it up, and I sat with it for an hour to see if that somehow means it’s going to get warm and nada. The only heat this blanket held was my own body heat. Don’t waste your money unless you want a throw blanket with wires in it.

My wife uses this throw every day and loves it. A great gift.

It’s coming apart where it joins to the blanket. This is the 2nd one I bought and it’s doing exactly the same as the first one. Once it comes unattached all the wires pull out. This blanket has literally saved my life by reducing my pain all year round. I loved the shutoff timer and the heat settings. I felt confident I could safely sleep with it. Not anymore though with the wires pulling out. I am so sad about that, you have no idea. I do not want a sherpa blanket and that’s seems to be all anyone else sells. My sensory issues and pain levels hate the feel of sherpa. I will also add I never washed the blankets. I figured that would surely ruin them.
