Lone Peak Toe clip covers are made to protect your feet in the cold and wet weather we can get in the winter. The cover will reduce wind through mesh cycling shoes, thus keeping your feet warm. Made form 1000 D Black Nylon, they will serve you for years to come. The covers attach to a set of pedals, over the toe clips. Velcro straps allow the cover to be secured to the toe clip strap. Sold as a pair, for the right and left side pedals. Size fits up to XL toe clips.

Well Made
I bought these mainly to help keep my feet warmer. They have added benefit of helping keep my feet dry. I grew up with the old school toe clips and still prefer them to other styles. I had covers just like this before. These are well made and fit over the toe clips well. I added some bubble wrap insulation to the front and top for added warmth and it works great. I can bike in those 30-40 degree biking days without freezing my toes off and it helps keep my feet dry on those rainy days. They work great after a dozen rides. They arrived fairly quickly, but an address I saw for them is about 10 miles from my home, so I'm sure that helped.

Could be better
I had toe-clip covers similar to these, over 30 years ago. Those were fantastic at keeping my feet warm/dry and lasted forever (until I lost them in a move). However, these toe-clip covers from Lone Peak are not the toe-clip covers I remember so fondly. These are made of lighter-weight material with what appears to be much less durable stitching. I can't imagine they'll last for long, but I'm using them. The ones I got are way too large and didn't fit my pedals/toe-clips well, but I found that they fit -- and installed -- much better "upside down." I also "took them in" a bit. There's really not too much to these; if you have some scraps of Cordura lying around and you're reasonably handy with a needle and thread, I suggest making your own.
