Perfect Bento Box: Versatile, Practical, and Stylish!
I bought this bento box for my husband, and he really loves it! The exterior is made of durable plastic, and the inner stainless steel compartment is removable, making it easy to clean. The box comes with three detachable compartments, but you can choose to use just one if you prefer. I love how versatile it is, with plenty of space for a satisfying lunch. The green color I ordered is great—it's not too bright or girly, so my husband doesn’t feel awkward carrying it. It also has a handle for easy carrying. Overall, I highly recommend this bento box to anyone looking for a practical and stylish lunchbox!

A good looking Bento style lunch box
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this lunch box because I am trying to eat healthier. My wirk lunches consist of a sandwhich and chips. This is cheap but not as healthy. This Bentonstyle lunch box will assist so I can keep foods seperate, salad, main lunch and possible dessert or something else. The metal trays inside feel like tin, not so good in my opinion. The plastic is food grade, from what I can tell. I am not certain if the plastic is microwavable or not.The set comes with a spork that is foldable and has a sliding lock. See the last 2 pictures tonsee what it looks like. Would have been nice if it was the same color as the boxes though. The style is very nice and with the yellow lids and side locks, this looks really nice. The lids have a vent that is able to be plugged or opened. This is great if you did not want your food being soggy because of steam.I saw another review stating the metal insert must be in or the unit will not lock together. I show in the video that mine does lock with the metal removed, just have to have the yellow lid thing.I dropped a star because every Bento lunch box I have seen have separation inside each section. Think frozen tv dinners or public school lunch trays with a seperate sections. Many come with areas to have several foods seperated and portioned. I have been in many of the Asian countries and work with Japanese and have seen many Bento lunch boxes. I have not seen one that is 3 stackable in this shape but have seen the 2. The 3 stackable are usually more round. The other reason why I rate this at a 4 is because I can not have my Asian noodle soups. The lids when locked down are not tight enough for keeping liquids. I did try it out with a type of Ramen noodle and also a fried noodle and the Ramen soup base spilled a little. If you keep this entirely upright then not a problem, but if youbare like me and carry your lunch box in a work bag or gym bag then it may spill.I still like this and recommend it for any adult looking to have a lunch/dinner box that can keep foods seperate.Disclaimer: I have only used this 2 times and it was only to see how it will hold up. Both times were tried with a soup and something else. Both times, the stream was not vented when the lid section was put on to create a tighter seal, I may try allowing some venting first then plug up the vent hole or other method to try out. In the meantime, I will do like many Asians in the Asian countries and use a bag inside holding the soup.

Pink - Keeps food warm and looks nice but it's huge
I really liked this bento box because the design is really cute. The bento box looks exactly like the one in the picture. You can choose to bring one compartment or 2 or 3 depending on the size of your meal by unclipping them. I like having that choice and it lessens the load that I have to clean. I can alternate between the compartments, having to only clean one every day when I bring my food to work. Also, having all three is a pain in the butt to put in my bag or to lug around, so I think 2 compartments work fine.My only complaint is that the boxes are metal so I can't microwave them. This is good for people who don't have access to a microwave at work or school. The fact that I can't microwave the box is fine since it keeps my food a little warm and moist (but beware if you're a late eater because the food will eventually end up at room temperature if left out for too long) and I can separate my salad from the warm rice. Plus there's usually a line at work for the microwave, so I don't have to wait in that line.

Not insulated, nice internal compartments, can get locked out
There are things I really like about this product and others that I find really frustrating.Positives:Stackable, you can use as many or as few compartments as you like.Cutlery included, and fits inside the lid.Size is good, and you can store a salad and a sandwich separately, for example.Negatives:Not insulated, and the metal liner means it can't be microwaved. So that limits your options to things that you want to eat at room temperature or that you can store cold. The metal liner has to be removed from the plastic shell to wash. That takes additional time to remove, wash both, and then ensure that both are dry before putting them back together. The clip on the side goes down to attach each piece to the one below. If you do that without ensuring that the clip below has also been moved down, you can lock it in place. I have had to get a butter knife out to separate the clips several times, which is frustrating. This product is very pretty and serves some uses, but I'm not sure how flexible it is. Truthfully after using it a few times, it has just been sitting on the table for a few weeks and I'm not sure if I will go to the trouble again.

There are better products
This box is somewhat heavy for it's size because of the stainless steel removable inserts. Easy to clean, and you can take it apart so it doesn't take up too much room in the fridge if using for cold food. For hot or cold, it only retains the cold or heat for a short period of time. There are many other products on the market that do a much better job. Gave it away.
