This is so much more than a bass shaker. As you can see from my video it actually plays crystal clear music through the whole range. Two drawbacks but only one loses a half a starv and that's the wires a little thin in my opinion. No risk of overheating at this low wattage, but it makes me worry they could come off if I'm not careful. The other thing is it is heavy so if you're thinking of making one of those hanging speakers, I would go with a lighter model. But if you're using it under its own gravity, it's phenomenal. Unlike the ones from Dayton, this really will not make unseemly sounds if it's not attached with adhesive. Just put it on its surface under its own weight and.... Well watch my video and you'll see. These are a game changer. I've been looking for a way to add speakers under the dash in my '65 Barracuda for a long time. I use the factory center speaker position in the dash for a dual voice coil 6 x 9 speaker and wire two of these (one on each side under the dash) in series with the left and right connections on the 6 x 9 dual voice coil. I used hot melt glue to fasten a high strength round magnet (bought on Amazon) to the speaker plate of each vibration speaker. The speakers are then stuck to the underside of the steel dash in the corners. This spreads out the sound image and give it a "wall of sound" presence. I'm even able to move them around to get them in a "sweet spot" that I find sounds best. This would probably not work with a modern car (because the dashes are all covered), but with '40s, '50s, '60s cars, most of the dashes were steel without a covering, so the magnet works great to hold and transmit the sound through the metal dash, effectively making it a sound diaphragm. I ordered the 4 ohm impedance versions. and when connected to the head unit it sees an 8 ohm load ( 4 ohm + 4 ohm/channel) well within the power handling of the amplifier.

leads connecting are to small guage. No spec sheet. No support just a chinese BS cheap

I use them on my racing rig as vibration device. I have tried different amplifier but not every one did work with the speaker. Finally found one and the speaker works great.
