Recommend a bench cushion

A cushion would be more of a personal preference. If you spend a lot of time sitting on the bench a cushion would certainly be more comfortable but as our bench sits under trees we do not use a cushion and do not find it uncomfortable to sit on without one.

Is the seat one piece or slats that you have to assemble? I ordered the floral bench & disappointed to see slats, not one piece seat.

We purchased the red cardinal bench. If I recall, it came in maybe four pieces. The back, seat and then each side. Each individual slot did not have to be put together.

What are the seating area slats made out of ? The info provided only specify that the back and arms are metal but there is no ino on the seat material

The material appears to be the same metal the bench is made of.

We can't get the little black caps to snap on to the screw heads. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem, let them soak in very hot water and then place at an angle and hit with a hammer, I used a piece of wood over the cap and hit the wood with the hammer.

Sturdy and functional

This was very easy to put together - my 14 year old son put it together in about 15 minutes. It’s held up great in both sunny, humid weather and in rain. It’s easy to move around the yard (when we have to mow) and it’s comfortable to sit on.I’d recommend this for anyone looking for a good bench for their home.

Protected with Metal Protector for No Rust

I bought 2 of the chairs and since I noticed other reviews said it rusts quickly I sprayed it with Guardsman Weather Defense Metal Protector. Other reviews said they saw rusting happen mostly in the corners so I included pictures of my new benches fresh out of the box with pictures of the corners and edges. I will update on whether the weather proofing works or not in the future. As for now, the chairs are pretty and fits 2-3 adults comfortably.
