Yay for a simple and modest female adult pirate costume! I've worn "shorter" costumes in my college days but now as a (cool) mom of 2 taking my kids trick or treating and attending my kid's preschool costume event, I was looking for something a little more modest. Worn with tights, this was the perfect length. I was planning on making my own costume but they didn't have the black and red stripe pattern at my local craft/fabric stores and this costume was affordable so I didn't feel too bad about paying just to wear it for one day.

Fit good, right length. I am 5 ft. 2. Small build. The belt is Velcro, but fidntblikevwherevthevvelcro was located. Made it too big, but think I can put my own Velcro to make it fit tighter. Using it for a cruise!

For me, the only item wrong with this outfit was the belt. I ordered a 2XL but the belt was too small. I’ll need to come up with a creative way to expand it. The fit & quality of dress was very nice.

Medium worked well for my size 4 daughter for her school play. Had a little room which was good since she needed costume changes so she had other clothes underneath. Not very thick, but served the purpose.

I was hoping for a more sturdy costume. This was disappointing. If you're only looking for a one-time wear to a Halloween party, it will suffice. I returned this and bought a better one on Amazon (the woman's Pirate Coat which I have reviewed).

It fits true to size. Good quality for a costume.

This is a great costume for the price! Very modest - I am 5’3” and it hits me just below the knee. I am usually a size 10 but knowing how costumes typically run small I bought the L/XL and it fits great. Excited to wear this to my daughters’ school party!

It fit well, although the Velcro belt was a little snug. I got some compliments while wearing it at a Pirate Fest! I wore black ankle boots to complete the look and added my own sword. I saw a reviewer say she was missing the sword, but it clearly states the set includes the clothes only, no sword.

Arrived fast. Described. Nice fit when order next size up. Clean.

Grabbed this for a pirate party we had while camping. It was well proportioned, didn’t feel super cheap (has longevity for another few parties/halloweens if I want to) and was actually pretty flattering…I’m a tall girl and the length/cut of this *didnt* make me look slutty (which I was a fan of) —if you did want to make it look/feel more provocative just order a size or two down, there’s lots of ‘give’ in the fabric 💕💕
