Nice quality, matte finish houses with very fine sparkles on the rooftops. The battery operated candles are the usual button battery basic tea lights. The reason I chose this set is because of the remote control that turns the lights on and off. It works and that is what I wanted. The color of the lights is a yellowish orangish color, but it still looks good in the white houses. The fake trees are a nice variety of heights. The flocked ones got a bit mushed in the package, but a little hand fluffing and placing the mushed sides in a direction that doesn’t show makes it ok.I have this set up on a glass shelf in a china cabinet, and I am happy with it. The packaging is excellent (aside from somehow tree mushing).

This is a very attractive decorative Christmas village set. There is lovely design and details on the products. It is exactly as pictured. These Christmas village are so beautiful and definitely magical. And the snow-covered pine trees are also a very nice touch. The buildings are good sized, it can fit on a mantle, bookshelf, or small table. Perfect addition for Christmas.There is a remote for the led candles, which is handy.Overall, I think it's a good value Christmas product that can last for a number of years.

I love this little village! It came out super cute for my Christmas display. I took off one star because the included electric candles do not work. I ended up throwing them away and just using lights enter-twined through the buildings.

This was one of my favorite decorations this Christmas. It’s a beautiful set. The container it came in makes it perfect for safely storing in between holidays and it was a bargain. The one fault it had was that the remote control lights did not last very long. They was a little disappointing. However, the set had so many other good qualities that was easy to overlook. I’m very happy with this purchase. It exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend it.

Okay this is adorable. What a superb value too! It just arrived and the houses are gorgeous, the dusting of snow on top is very fine, not cheesy looking at all. It comes with the trees, the remote and battery powered tea lights too. Fool proof holiday decorating!

The houses themselves seem of pretty high quality, pretty heavy ceramic with glitter on their roofs which is a nice touch. However the trees seem very low quality and all showed up bent and clumped together so that’s disappointing, but this product is no longer available to exchange and I like the buildings enough to keep them!On another note, the remote is very sensitive so you have to point it at each building but it is nice to have.Edited to add:the seller saw this three star review and refunded me in full. Great customer service. Since the review, the remote also stopped working so the tea lights would not work, but I replaced those. The houses are still gorgeous and worth the money, compared to the other options I saw online.

The little houses are beautiful and perfect. It was a good idea to include extra batteries. Everything works very well. The only problem was the trees, which were dented on one side, but it's nothing that can be fixed.
