The Laser Level I purchased works great. The quality is good and it is easy to use!I also like that is comes with it's own carrying case.

Worked great! Great price.
Worked great. Nice feature to use when not level. Used to install a drop ceiling. Planning on using to help align my 5th wheel hitching process.

It's is truely worth $30. Not for professionals but perfect for DIYers.
The title sums it up. This is no where near professional grade and it has many "features" about it that I find annoying or missing. But, for the rare times that I need a laser level I'm happy I only spent $30 instead of the hundreds for a high quality one. It does the job of a laser level very well, it's bright, dimmable, accurate, and the batteries last forever (Really, they do! I am still using the same battery with the factory charge from when I first got it...it's about 60% now.), comes with two batteries, tripod mountable, compact, easy to use. Now, let me just list the cons for those looking for more specifics:- Does not feel like a durable plastic, might crack or shatter if it fell. But, does have a bit of rubber protection around the corners and edges.- Batteries slide in place but do not lock, I haven't had any problem with them falling off though.- Does not have external power port, must use batteries.- Tripod mount has four tabs (feet to place on flat surface) on the corners. This gets in the way of most tripod plates so the screw doesn't reach the hole. I have to use a threaded extender.- Instructions are pretty poor.- Not the most intuitive to use.- When you power it on it goes through a self check mode that has a very loud and annoying beep for every check. Noisy on power up.- If it is not level or is moving once powered on that loud/annoying alarm goes off endlessly...like an alarm clock!- "Manual mode" turns off that alarm but it is not intuitive or marked - you have to hold the center button for a few seconds.- "Manual mode" does NOT lock the self-leveling lasers in place, they wobble around as you tilt the level until they bump up against the sides. It only seems to turn off the alarm.- The only way to lock the lasers in place is to turn it off.- Display panel has additional information that is not explained: IN, OUT, 5.0V 2.1A, 5.0V 1.0A ("Out" is always lit up)- Dimming/Brightening the lasers is not intuitive - you have to hold the H or V buttons to change the brightness.- Buttons are very sensitive to the slightest touch. This is both good for not disturbing the laser much and bad for easily hitting the wrong thing.Overall, it is worth $30. Great for a DIYer like myself who doesn't use these very often. Accurate enough for most projects around the house. Comes with a zippered padded case with a magnetic/screw L-mount, two batteries, and a basic instruction manual. And the batteries charge by a USB-C port. It's not well mentioned but you can NOT charge the batteries while they are powering on the laser level. But, really, the batteries last a really, really long time so you shouldn't need to.

Good where it counts
Powerful lasers, decent auto leveling. The battery life is good but it comes with a commodity junk 9v ac adapter with a simple red/green charge indicator. The fine adjuster base is somewhat useless because it's not very granular and sticky so it's easier just to turn by hand. Case is junk plastic and the bottom isn't rubberized so it can slide around a bit when nudged. It does it's purpose and for the price the laser strength, leveling, and decent battery life make it worth the money.

Typical Chinese "Quality"
First issue was the batteries, neither battery would lock in. If you pushed down on the battery you could turn the level on but as soon as you stopped pushing it down it would power back off. Second & even more pathetic, the power display on the side of the level was installed UPSIDE DOWN! I don't expect much when I decide to try some of this cheap Chinese junk, but this was pathetic. Also, while the reviews were pretty decent on this item, after going back & looking again, all of the reviews with pictures were showing a completely different level.

Where are the fractional stars??? (Updated)
I ordered this product because the details and description looked good, and the reviews looked good, and when the item arrived the packaging and product itself looked good. But when I put batteries in and turned it on, it turned me off. It didn't even flicker. So I turned to Amazon assistance and the seller message option, and found out that I can get a refund, that's cool, but to get the laser level I want I have to reorder. Why can't I ask for a replacement?Anyway, the essence of this review is I got a bad product, that'll happen sometimes, but when I tried to get customer service, I had Amazon step in and block me.So my impressions, would I buy this again? Looks like I'm going to have to, and you can too, but be aware of the possibility of a bad unit and bad customer service. Would I recommend it to others? I'd have to tell anyone else if your budget is that tight, then take a chance, if you can afford it I'd look for one that costs a bit more, but maybe with have better support behind it.(Update) I actually wasn't able to return it, so I dug into it soto speak, to try and discover what the problem was. After trying a few different pairs of batteries, I finally found a pair that got it to work, a very cheap dollar store kind of battery, but it was very weak. So, I went back to the rechargeables that I normally use and..... nothing. Then I switched between the 2 pairs a couple of times, checking to see if there was an obstruction, but same results. Then I noticed a flash of power with the rechargeables when I was closing the battery door, so I measured them. The dollar store batteries were 49.8 mm in length, the rechargeables were 50.1 mm, so that .3 mm broke the connection somehow, I just can't figure out why.Anyway, I am able to use the level now if I make some kind of contraption to hold the battery door open a bit, this is okay if I only use the magnetic base or a tripod. While the dollar store batteries didn't show up very brightly, this would be because they rarely have a great charge or mAh rate to them, the rechargeables shown up quite well, illuminating a line well across an 8' room, even across the 11' span of my mobile home. All of the features described by the seller were there and seemed to work well. Well, with the exception of the power thing...So, what is actually changing with my review? Not much actually, other than not getting it to work before, but what I had to go through to get it to work..... So NO, I wouldn't buy this thing again, and NO I would not recommend it to anyone other than someone I really don't like. But then, he probably wouldn't listen to me anyway, so all good.
