Vibrant Purple & Long-Lasting — Obsessed!
This Rit Eggplant dye worked perfectly. The color came out rich and vibrant coverage on multiple fabrics (shirts, pants, lace — you name it) very durable and hasn’t faded after washing. It even kept all the original stitching looking crisp and clean — no weird contrast or dye bleed or leaking. Used it with ColorStay and the results look professionally done. If you love purple and upcycling clothing, this dye is a win. It was a great value being able to get the dye and colorstay. 💜🔥

Good Quality
I bought this dye for my chair cover, and it worked really well. The color came out beautiful and even. It was easy to use and gave my chair cover a nice fresh look. Really happy with the result!

Rich, Even Color and Great for Multiple Projects
This liquid Rit Dye in Dark Green worked extremely well for my fabric projects. I used it on a mix of cotton items, including an older T-shirt and some decorative cloth pieces, and the color came out deep, rich, and very even. There was no streaking or patchiness, which is something I’ve dealt with in the past when using powdered dyes. The liquid formula makes a big difference. It dissolved immediately in warm water and mixed smoothly without clumps, which helped the fabric absorb the color more consistently. The instructions were straightforward, and the dye bath was easy to control. I left my items in for about 30 minutes, checking occasionally, and the results were exactly the shade I wanted. Another thing I really liked is how well the dye rinsed out. It didn’t continue to bleed once the water ran clear, and the final color stayed bold after drying. I also tested a small piece of fabric a week later, and the color held up without fading. This is a great option whether you're reviving older clothing, doing craft projects, or making home decor pieces. The color payoff is strong, the bottle goes a long way, and the process is beginner-friendly. I would absolutely buy this again for future DIY projects.

Easy to use
Pretty easy to use. The color isn’t consistent throughout but it’s hard to notice and that might be my faults because the container I used to dye it in was kind of small and didn’t allow a ton of room to spread out the shirt. Overall, I’m happy.

Works good easy to use
Did well. Replace a bad spot in the carpet and had to darken it. Works good

Dyed my wedding dress with this
I dyed my white, 100% silk wedding dress with this dye. I did add some teal dye according to the recipe on the Rit website that I was following, but the green seems to have gotten lost. Just be aware that if you just use this blue, it may not be exactly what is in my picture. I followed the instructions exactly for stovetop dyeing, and the dye came out 99.5% perfect. I had a lot of trouble with the dress holding air and trying to float in my soup cauldron, so next time I would lower the dress in more carefully to keep air bubbles out. I had to keep pressing it down and stirring. But the dye turned out lovely.

Color was off.
The dye works and is easy to use but the color was not what I was expecting. It was much more blue and less of a forest green like I had thought it would be. I made tie-dye for my kids at school.

I ordered tan, and expected just that. Or at least a form of beige. I followed directions exactly, and ended up with mauve!! Absolutely appalling. Fabric ruined. It does not even deserve one star. And the system does not even allow a photo to be attached to substantiate what Rit supplied. I’ll never use a Rit product again!

This dye transformed a very dull coloured cotton cardigan into a beautiful new pink.
