A selection of VW songs from her stand up shows. This newer version includes ‘The ballad of Barry and Freda’. Lots of tidbits throughout the book, written by the lovely lady herself, as well as a humorous intro. My only gripe is that the notated print is a bit too small.

This edition does have Barry and Freda. Its a 2016 edition so different from earlier 80s publication which had Song of a Lonely Girl- not in this. The original was in a larger format and hence the music larger and clearer but this is readable if a little small.

A brilliant song book, some great pictures interspersing the music, lovely feel and shine to the book as well. 10/10, very glad I bought it! Would recommend to any piano player or fan of Vic’s music.
