These are very effective for me. The Her Life Stages perimenopause supplement contains mostly iodine for thyroid support, chromium for blood sugar balance and maca root. Maca root is a form of ginseng that some claim improves libido. Although I did not notice any changes in the latter, I did feel like my sleep and moods were well regulated while taking this supplement over the last month. When the thyroid hormone is balanced, fewer night sweats and sleep interruptions occur. When I get better sleep, I am usually in a better mood the next day. I do not think these are doing anything besides having a placebo effect. They are quite expensive, and when I refrained from ordering for a couple of months, I was able to use dietary and lifestyle alterations to achieve the results I had hoped to achieve with these supplements.
