I placed them from 2 feet to 7 feet apart. You get different patterns depending on the distance between them

Q: Can we purchase replacement stakes?

I googled it and several replacements are available on Amazon. Hopefully you can find replacements.

Q: Is the battery a AA or something non standard?

Is the battery used in your lamp called a 4/5 AA battery and NOT a standard USA AA Size battery?

Q: How do you recharge the batteries?

The lil solar panel on top on the lamp itself. It would charge the batteries with whatever sunlight it collects. Light sensor turns them on/off whenever light/dark.
