He as t Shrink Butt Connectors
Fit perfectly my 18 Guage wire, my cutting and crimping tool worked perfectly with them. The heat shrink outer cover worked as advertised. My recommendation is to not apply too much heat as it will turn black.

Great assortment, shrink and seal nicely to protect wire ends. Included case, not so much.
Great way to get a couple hundred butt slice connectors for low voltage wiring, like trailer lighting. They crimp solidly, material heat shrinks around the wires, and interior of plastic has a thermoset glue that bonds to the wire insulation for waterproofing the joint, making them perfect for undercarriage wiring on trailers :-)Only complaint is lack of quality in the included storage container. Our pack arrived with a broken latch. Connectors inside were fine, but one latch was missing entirely...the broken part was not even inside the shrink wrap keeping the kit sealed, so it appears to be shipped from factory that way :-) While I wanted the connectors more than the storage aspect, it is a ding on quality control to ship a set with a broken storage case to Amazon, for subsequent order fulfillment. I had another container that fits my tool bag, so I'm not beholding to the included one, but still...

Excellent value
These heat shield butt connectors work excellent. They are waterproof and can be used for outdoor, marine or auto use. My husband uses these types of connectors often. He said they shrink perfect for a waterproof connection which he needs often for anything on our boat. This box of 200 should last him for many years.

They worked.
The metal ferrules were a little small for the gauge wire they were supposed to fit, and the ferrules were short in length! Could have been a bigger id and longer for better wire bite! But overall good product for the money!

Work great
I'm not sure what the 1-star review is about, dude needs to elaborate.I just used approximately 30 of the 18-22 gauge butt splices to repair a transmission wiring harness. They worked great. The ferrules are notably thicker than the connectors that came with the new plugs. Strong mechanical hold and the glue seems to get good coverage without making a mess.Glad I have another 150+ pieces for future projects.

wont hold small wires
Looks like a good product however, when crimping smaller wires they won't stay in securely. The red connectors say they will crimp down to 22ga but anything smaller than 18 will slide out- even using 2 different crimpers I can't get them to hold. The metal is very soft vs I have other crimp style connectors that have a stiff metal inside that will hold even 22ga wire no problem. The only good thing about these connectors is they can heat shrink down but just don't have the holding power I can trust so in my opinion, they belong in the trash.

Work Great
The wire fits in them perfectly and they are easy to crimp. Apply some heat to them after and the heat shrink, shrinks right down and seals tight to the wire. I have used these on a boat trailer for redoing the lighting and they seem to keep the water out and have had no issues so far.

These seem to be a really good quality for not a ton of money
These seem to be a really good quality for not a ton of money. they are in fact plated copper. I dissected one to test it, they looked to be aluminum at first. They shrink down really nicely. There are some pretty classic typos on the packaging regarding what gauge goes in what but it is correct on the butt splices. When I run low I will certainly buy these again.

Funktioniert gut -> gerne wieder

Macht was es soll
