Brilliant, useful, so much better than google maps - I love Ordnance Survey!

Forgot to take mine on holiday, so ordered a new one and got it delivered to local shop the next day. Brilliant!

This is a double sided map so that almost certainly means the area you want is on the edge and split between both sides, a right pain on a windy wet walk! But that’s hardly OS’s fault. Good mapping of course, loads of detail and essential walking equipment, these are good maps.A shout out too for Amazon who still managed to deliver the map in the nick of time despite my late order. Excellent.

OS Maps are always the best - and the waterproof ones last the longest.

One cannot fault the accuracy of these maps, but when it comes to using them in practice, they are so big that one has to keep folding them in different ways, which obviously wears them out. A map of this accuracy in spiral bound book form would also be useful.

This is exactly what we need to be able to see rights of way and paths in the area from plymouth to dartmouth. The fact that it is double sided does mean it is a bit tricky to use if you want to open up the reverse side (which is what we mainly need) but this does mean you are getting a really large area covered by this map. Has a digital download as well, not worked this out yet but I think will be useful (when we can't be bothered to open it all up).

Essential

I have numerous OS active maps and just love them. So handy when out walking or running and great for exploring new routes. The level of detail on these maps is fantastic. Highly recommend the active maps compared to standard due to the British weather!
