I was going to give a lower review, only because I'd put the box together wrong. The directions are hard to follow. Why do people insist on putting a white background behind a white object? Anyway, when I first assembled the box, there was a gap between the box lid and the front corners. Then I realized the inside flap should be used as part of the lid as well. Still, the ribbons sent with the boxes look like they are about an inch or two shorter than the pretty bows tied in the advertisement photo. As you can see in my last photo, I finally managed to get the box all put together correctly and the bow tied.These are thin boxes. About the thickness of a cake box. They'll be good for one-time use, only, and not for anything heavy. You could wrap a scarf or some gloves in the boxes, but they aren't going to hold a set of wrenches.Still, it is a bargain - twenty boxes for $15.99! The ad points out they are about eighty cents each. Add to that, the pretty ribbon means you don't have to wrap the box with wrapping paper - so you save even more money. And I do like the size!So - learn from my mistake and don't put the box together wrong! And go ahead and get a set of these boxes. While I probably won't wrap toys in them, I think they'd be perfect for gift-giving to all the odds and ends of people you gift at the holidays. A gift for your child's teacher, or maybe a box of home-made cookies for a neighbor or the mail carrier. Stuff the box with some tissue paper and maybe put in a pound of fudge. Happy Holidays!

The assembled boxes make good gift boxes because of the ribbon that can be tied into a bow. The completed boxes can be gift wrapped. I filled one with homemade cookies as a gift. The key is to pre-fold all the crease lines back and forth a couple of times. After that, it assembles at all the creases quickly and easily. I suggest putting tape at 2-3 points during final assembly. I recommend and would use them again.

I am so thrilled with these gift boxes! For starters, the fact that you get 20 in a pack is fantastic! That's a lot of boxes for a great price. They are easy to assemble as everything is pre-folded/scored. They are durable for what I am using them for. (Cocoa bombs, mugs and candy spoons for friends and family.) I especially love that they come with the cute ribbons. I can assemble, fill, close and tie in a hurry with no hassles. Overall, this is a great product for a price that is more than reasonable. I would absolutely recommend them!

These boxes are a decent size, but not very sturdy. Don't plan to put anything heavy in them. Once assembled, the lid doesn't reach all the way over the top to fully cover the contents, even with the tie closure. Plus, the edges are rounded, which makes the gap bigger. In a pinch -with tissue paper- I can make these work. But honestly, I would not order these again.
