Bought this solar security light to replace a different version and make that had a radar type sensor which was much to sensitive and would keep switching on and off and ran the battery down quickly.This type works fine and does pick up movement and only stays on if there is any movement and turns off quickly saving the battery lifeDue to the larger battery mah this type lasts much better than some of the other popular makes that have stopped working during the darker days and nights, so an easy five stars for this lightThe only issue I had was the template supplied with the light to drill fixing holes, measure the fixings on the back of the light as well as some of the card templates do not match up to the hole distances on the actual light fitting, but apart from this the light is pretty good quality and value.UPDATE Nov 20 this light is still working as per normal, other different makes solar lights that were purchased before this type have long gone in the bin failed, on many levels, so these are worth paying extra for in the first place as they stand the test of time

I had similar ones in plastic before, (these have more metal on them,) till they fizzled out, then they weren't on Amazon again, tiny replacements were too dim, but then I spotted these, I knew they'd be ok! they are great, one is used each side of the front door, and cat flap, it gives light to the patio for the cats when it's dark at night

This is great very bright works with different functions easy to set upYep very happy don’t know about durability yet but it seems a good solid bit of kitThanksUpdate4 months on and it’s still working great I did read some reviews about water getting in to the unit so I sealed it up with silicone sealant around where it is screwed in at the Back of the unit after fitting it and this must have worked as there has been some very heavy rain since then and no water has got in 👍🏻

Pleased it was smaller than the picture made it look, seems to be reasonably well made, worked straight out of the box, fully charged on arrival...After fiddling for a minute or 2, learned how to operate it, it'd bright and works, for 14 quid why are you reading this? buy it...! if you want a light that leads you a safe path down the garden' this is the light you need... Did I mention it's quite bright...?

These are very good and we have now started to put them up in various outdoor areas which receive good direct sunlight during the day. Particularly good over ‘outhouse’ or shed doors as we don’t have to faf around with electrics, switches cables etc

This is the second of these lights we have bought. Returned the first because it filled with rain water and stopped working, even after being dried out. Had been very pleased with it up until then. Decided we were unlucky and so purchased another. Again worked very well until it rained, then filled completely with water and failed to work after emptying and drying. For a 'water proof outdoor light' falls short of its publicity.

Once set up to the programme /settings I wanted, works really well and is very bright. Will be interesting to see how that continues over the winter months, but so far I'm delighted with how well it works.

Installed it about 3 months ago. It faces the elements and is still working fine. Brighter light than expected. Good range detection.
