I have been craving a deeper bath to languish in but our bath is a corner bath so you can't stretch-out fully and the over flow is situated a few inches down from the top of the bath lip. I was worried that I might have to remove the chain to path through the hole on top of the new device, but I needn't have because I managed to pass the plug through it. Wow! it works perfectly, just as advertised. I enjoyed my first bath which was may be 3 inches deeper than usual, sheer luxury! Also no water leak through the seal either, so levels did not drop at all. Wonderful gadget which was worth every penny!

I recently had a low level bath installed to make it easy to get in and out of but that means the water is not so deep. I saw this and I was sceptical about it but, as it’s very reasonably priced, decided to try it. It works! I get at least 3 more inches of water which is all I need for a long hot soak. It seals totally with very little effort. So easy to use.

I'm in the process of fitting a new bathroom and the bath I installed, despite having larger measurements, is apparently smaller in water capacity as I was not fully covered in the new bath unlike the old one. Instead of ripping the new bath out I thought of blocking the overflow and found this. It works a treat, and the hole at the top is handy as your bath still won't overflow. I knocked off a star as it's not the most attractive thing, however thankfully as it works on suction you can remove it every time quickly and easily.

I recently moved to a house where my bath would barely fit a hobbit! Not good for someone who's 5ft 11! As soon as I got in bath, most of water would drain out of overflow, leaving me sitting in what felt like a puddle. This item came promptly and cheap to buy! This product has been the BEST thing I've ever bought! I now have a nice "deep"bath that I can soak in now, thanks to the cover over the overflow hole! You do need to be careful not to flood your bathroom floor though! Be sensible with it. It's easy to use and I just followed one of the other reviewers instructions by putting it in warm water first to soften it, to allow it to suction properly to the bath. It's easy to put on and very easy to remove! Sooooo much cheaper than some of the other alternatives! A FAB invention that means I can have a nice hot bath now!

Needed to add extra depth to my bath so brought this product. It's extremely simple to use. Just put it in place, press down on thr suction points and job done. Very good suction and a tight seal to the bath. Added a good 3 or 4 inches to bath depth. Would highly recommend this product. Would be great if it was a tad cheaper.

Had first tried to come up with an idea on my own, when I realized I couldn't be the first with this thought, so went to Google for ideas, and up came Amazon, unsurprisingly, with this. Works exactly as expected, and covers the overflow completely. I have seen some reviews stating that the emergency overflow hole in this item prevents it from doing what it is supposed to do, but if you make sure the hole is on the top, you at least get a gain of 4 inches/10 centimeters. If I do that in my tub, the emergency overflow is about 1 cm lower than the rim, which is so high, that I don't even dream of filling it that much. If you have a tub, where you cannot accept that overflow hole, why not just cover it with some duct tape? The hardest to visualize from the item description, was the actual size, so I have added a few photos showing alternative perspectives, which might help you decided.

Amazing! I am a 5'10 tall average built guy and decided to take more baths to help me with recovery from the gym and also for back pain. Initially, my chest and most of my bent knees would be out of the water level! Not very good! I did some research and found this drain cover and was very skeptical at first. It was pretty simple to use, just place over the drain cover - even then I was skeptical as it was not an airtight suction pad. However, to my amazement this has risen the level of my bath by about 2-3 inches (maybe even more!!!) My chest and all of my legs are literally under the water level! Definitely, recommend this

Da ich schon lange auf der Suche nach so einem Produkt war, möchte ich gern meine Erfahrungen teilen und die erste Rezension schreiben. Vorweg: bei Amazon sollte unbedingt eine andere Überschrift verwendet werden. So wie sie jetzt lautet, findet es kein Mensch...... ich hatte Glück und hatte es auf Englisch im Amazon.co.uk gefunden und bei .de danach gesucht. z.B. Wannen-Überlauf-Stopper oder sowas... Ausgangssituation, die viele kennen: Man liegt in der Wanne und das laute Geräusch abfließenden Wassers ist NICHT zu überhören. Einige Sekunden später liegen Oberkörper, Knie, etc. frei und werden kalt. Wir konnten uns eine Wanne mit verstecktem Überlauf ("kommunizierende Rohre") nicht leisten (die sind sündhaft teuer). Daher haben wir dann doch eine mit diesem normalen Überlauf genommen, der gleichzeitig durch Drehen die Wanne unten verschließt. Erfahrung mit dem Produkt: Der Innendurchmesser ist ca. 10 bis 10,5cm. Der Außendurchmesser beträgt 15,5cm. An einer Stelle gibt es ein Loch als Überlauf (siehe Foto), der Überlauf ist also nicht komplett verschlossen, sondern weit nach oben verlagert. An der Innenseite gibt es eine umlaufende Lamelle, die das ganze nach Andrücken abdichtet. Die kleinen Saugnäpfe sind ganz vorsichtig anzudrücken, sonst wölben sie sich nach außen und halten nicht mehr richtig. Mit leichtem Andrücken haben sie aber sehr gut gehalten. Ich habe den Überlauf gedreht, damit sich die Wanne unten schließt und Wasser eingelassen. Danach habe ich dieses Überlauf-Dichtungs-Ding aufgesetzt und angedrückt. So schnell ist die Wanne ja nicht voll... Der Wasserspiegel in der Wanne wurde DEUTLICH weiter nach oben verlagert (bei mir waren es mind. 10cm). Ich habe das Silikon-Ding hinterher kontrolliert, innen war NUR Kondenswasser, sonst ist KEIN Wasser aus der Wanne eingedrungen und abgeflossen. Klare Kaufempfehlung für ein so günstiges Produkt mit um die 6 Euro und für jeden, der die kostbaren Zentimeter Wasserspiegel in der Wanne gewinnen will, egal ob er (wie wir) sich keine teure Wanne ohne Überlauf leisten konnte/wollte, oder in einer Mietwohnung wohnt und die Wanne nehmen muss, wie sie ist. Die Wanne bis quasi zum Rand zu füllen, ist damit kein Problem! Ich persönlich finde, es ist ein schlichtes Design und nicht so aufdringlich und klobig, wie das schweizer Pendant in blau (will keine Namen nennen), welches außerdem mind. 7x so teuer ist. Cubre perfectamente el desagüe y sorprendentemente aunque esta la cadenita del tapón se cierra bien. Sirve a su propósito.
