Upgrade from Original Halyard
I have rated the installation and durability at 3 stars for now because I have not been able to install the new halyard on my flag pole due to local weather. I will update review once this changes.I can already tell the quality is better than the original halyard that came with my flag pole. This has an actual core to it that the previous halyard did not have. I fully expect this halyard will last longer than 2 seasons, but we shall see.UPDATE: I cannot change the star rating for individual aspects, if I could I would change Installation to a 5 from a 3 star rating. The halyard was very easy to install and get in place. The firmer core was easily cut and tied.

America need I say more?
America- Est 1776- Shes Beautiful- Stands for everything great in this LandFlag quality is great for the price, outside i can see them only lasting a year or 2 due to fabric density. light but sturdy enough to survive in CA.MADE IN USA <----- This should apply to all American Flags but sadly this isn't the truth.DO NOT SUPPORT NON-USA manufactures of the USA flag. Put Dinner on an Americans plate for the American Flag you bought.I have the National flag flying in my office. Puts a smile on my face every day.

Strong Halyard for 25' Flagpole
I just installed this rope/halyard on my 25' flagpole. It is a big improvement over the line that came with the flagpole; it only lasted 3 months in southern Kentucky (see picture)! The Anley rope is stiffer than the original, less elastic to rot out. I sealed (melted) the ends using a lighter to prevent fraying. I expect it will last much longer. Also, due to the height of the cleat, I have enough left over as a replacement down the road.

Rope disintegrated over 3 (month 5-8) months! Your risk is $250 more than the rope price.
I REALLY dislike that I now have to try to find a way to re rope a 35' flat pole from scratch! I bought my Anley rope through Amazon / Anley in Jan 2018. I re threaded my 6 year old flag pole rope and used the new rope until leaving Florida June 2018. When I returned back 3 months later in Sept 2018 my new Anley rope had completely shreaded, fallen from the pole, and now I have no way to string a new rope. I phoned Anley three times and got no response, hence this post. My prior rope was thicker (I wrongly felt the Anley description said their 1/4" rope was better made to withstand weather) so I bought a new 5/16" rope from another vendor, but I have no way to get the new rope to the top of my flag pole. One year later I was able to re rope my 35 foot flag pole at a cost of $250.00. The pole climber and ladder were $150 and the service call of the provider was $75.

2018 that the plastic like coating is flaking off.on original.
Purchased this rope March 29, 2018. Noticed on June 25, 2018 that the plastic like coating is flaking off. Apparently it cannot stand up to the Florida sun for more than 3 months. The rope has not come apart yet, but I think it is only a matter of time.I have changed my review from 2 stars to 4 based on the Anley degree of customer service. Their response to my problem was to quickly send a replacement halyard. The customer service, to my mind is impressive. 4 stars is basically because I want to see if the new halyard lasts more than 3 months. The photo on the left is the original after less than 3 months in Florida sun. The photo on the right is the original (on top) and the replacement (bottom). It appears to have a different weave so we'll see how it holds up.

This is what the founding fathers would have wanted...
As I lay in my bed with Old Glory flying so gallantly above me, I can only imagine that this is what Ben Franklin and George Washington wanted. I drift into a restful sleep knowing that no harm will come to me as long as my protector is there. Her red, white, and blue smoothes my soul as I dream of bald eagles and tomahawk missiles. USA USA USA USA USAThe quality of this flag is alright...definitely for indoor use if long term. Larger than I expected.Sleeping under the Stars and Stripes tonight...

Better than most
A nice strong thick halyard. Does not stretch as much as some so keeps the flag tight. All round a good buy.
