2 yo loves it.
Great. We bought this for a 2 year old who seems to have a love of buckling things. She was constantly going to the kitchen to buckle and unbuckle her booster seat. We got this as an alternative and it worked. Pros: - Foam makes it super light for her to carry around. The handle is nice too, in theory but our little one doesn’t use it. - Super bright colors. - Nice, neat and compact design. Both my husband and I thought this would make great airplane entertainment. We haven’t tried it yet but I’ll update the review if we do. - Zipper and shoelaces seem like they’ll be good too. Although we haven’t ventured into the shoelaces yet and the zipper doesn’t get much use. She’s too into the buckles. The Zipper does have a pattern inside of it so that’s nice! Cons: - A few of the buckles look almost identical front and back so it’s a bit hard for our kiddo to tell when it’s buckled backwards. - Wish the buckle length was just a touch longer. It hasn’t caused a real problem but just seems like it’d be a bit more comfortable with a longer strap. - Two of the buckles are very similar in the way they clasp. Would have been nice to have 4 individual styles. Maybe even one that’s similar to most car seat buckles would be nice. All in all, it’s great and I’ll be gifting it for my nieces or nephews down the road.

Essential for Long Car Rides and Endless Fun
The Buckle Toys Busy Board has been a lifesaver for our family, especially on long car rides. This Montessori learning toy is designed for toddlers, but it has kept my kids occupied for hours, even the older ones who find it fun to play with the different buckles. Our first big test was a road trip, and I was amazed at how this toy captured their attention. The busy board is made of durable foam, which means it can withstand a lot of wear and tear. The variety of buckles is not only entertaining but also educational, helping the kids develop their fine motor skills while having fun. What impressed me the most is the board's ability to engage children of different ages. My youngest loves trying to figure out how to open and close the buckles, while my older child enjoys showing off their skills and coming up with new ways to play. It’s truly a toy that grows with them. In terms of durability, this busy board has been thrown around, stepped on, and generally put through the wringer, yet it still looks and functions like new. It's lightweight and portable, making it easy to pack along for trips or just to keep in the car for everyday use. Overall, the Buckle Toys Busy Board is a fantastic investment for any parent. It combines fun and learning in a way that keeps kids engaged for hours. If you're looking for a durable, educational toy that will make long car rides more bearable, this is the one. Highly recommended!

Keep Busy Board!
Bought as a gift for our 2 year old. He loves figuring out buttons and doing things with his hands. It keeps him occupied! We took this to the airport with us and it was a life savor! Medium size so it fits perfectly in a backpack, I love the color. However, I did think it would be more sturdy and thick. I could’ve probably made this haha but it does the job so no complaints!

Keeps my daughter busy for hours!
I have a two year old, and this has been her favorite toy for almost a year. For a child with a short attention span, I'm actually surprised how much fun she has trying to do the buckles. The zipper also has shapes underneath, so that has been fun to also help her learn while she plays. We take it in the car, on airplanes and to restaurants. It has held up amazingly well, and I'd recommend it for any 1-3 year old!

Favorite birthday gift!
I bought this buckle toy for my grandson‘s second birthday. He has played with this by far more than any other toy since he got it. He buckles and buckles and buckles. He enjoys showing mastery of this skill and increasing speed of accomplishment. He also likes the zipper and points to the star hidden underneath. The laces give him something to aspire to in future months. The toy is easy to carry. He uses it at home and in the car. He’s so attached to it. What a great toy!

Great toy for busy bodies to sit and focus with
My son is 20 months old and loves this busy board! It keeps him busy for several minutes (which is long considering his attention span is so short at his age). Some of the buckles are too hard for him to open, which makes sense that the recommended age for it is 3 years old. He really enjoys opening and closing them and identifying the colors. It will be some time before he can use the laces, but this might be a good tool when teaching him how to tie his shoes in the future. It is made of foam, which makes it very light and portable, but it is tempting for him to bite (again, maybe the age recommendation is accurate for 3). We are very happy with this toy!

Buckles hard to grasp for 18 Mo old
I bought this for my 18 mo old nephew. He is very curious and hands on and loves to try to figure things out. I’m not sure if he’s too young or if his hands are too small or if his fine motor skills aren’t ready for this yet, but he has a really hard time buckling the buckles and gets frustrated fairly easily as a result. If the buckle straps were a little longer or if the buckles were a little bigger, he might be able to successfully grasp both sides to buckle the buckles. Otherwise, this busy board is as described, arrived quickly, and is holding up to normal use.

Absolutely excellent. Great for 2 year old - especially if they need sensory toys. Would be great for an autistic child.
