I did alot of research on mattress toppers before buying this one; many of the reviews for cheaper ones expressed disappointment that the product was more like putting a mattress cover or duvet on the mattress and provided minimal support. This is not the problem I needed to solve. This memory foam mattress topper is EXCELLENT and really made a super uncomfortable, hard student housing mattress into a very comfortable, cozy, sleepable piece of furniture. The egg-crate sponge really does the trick. It looked too small at first, but within 24 hours, it ballooned upward and outwards to fit a double mattress perfectly. For the price point, even if it was more costly than what i originally wanted to spend, I think it is super value for the money. I am really happy with it and highly recommend if you are trying to stretch out the life of an old mattress. Only downside is that it is a bit dense/heavy, like 7-8 kilos for a double. But worth every gram!!

I’ve been using this nearly three weeks now, and I couldn’t be happier. My mattress was a bit on the firm side, and I was beginning to find it uncomfortable. I’ve developed problems with bursitis in my right hip, so I couldn’t sleep on my right side, but after a few hours sleeping on my left side, I was waking up in pain, and numb in my left hip. My mattress is a good quality mattress, and only three years old, so I didn’t want to replace it.So I thought a memory foam mattress topper might help, and boy was I right! I can now sleep comfortably on either my right or left side, and I’m not waking up in pain anymore. I’m delighted with my purchase.The quality of the topper is excellent, so I reckon it will last a good while. It’s lovely and thick, and so soft to sleep on.

I had this on the bed about a year. It was so stiff and smelly to begin with. But I am soo glad I bought it. It has breathed new life into our mattress. Saved me so much money instead of buying a whole new mattress. It does move slightly and need a readjust every couple of nights. Just a gentle tug to get it back-nothjng major. So I knocked a star off for that but I really am very glad I bought it.

Wow... It's thick, comfy and just adds luxury to your bed.. I have ontop of a mattress and it's helped to stop me feeling shaken when I move, whereas before it felt a little bouncy just the mattress.Had on offer under £100 so bargain for what it is. Supports while sleeping, and does help my body not hurt as much overall. Few days in and I love it!Didn't find a smell as such apart from the packaging... it also expanded very quickly.. bit of a potch to unwrap lol but over all very happy 😊

I was really skeptical and have put off buying a bed topper for a while as it would be a difficult thing to wrap up and send back if it was no good , however after seeing the good reviews on this I took the chance. Omg it is truly amazing . I bought a new bed and i hated it immediately as it was too soft so as I had spent a lot on the bed I wasn't changing it any time soon, I decided to try this topper .... its honestly my best amazon buy ever ! The topper is quite thick and you can really feel the difference , i had such a comfy night's sleep, I'm going to buy another for my spare room .The edges are secured with thick elasticated corners which is great so stays securely in place.So my old bed was too hard and my new one too soft , this has kind of made it a medium firmness which is just right for me .As soon as I opened it I could tell it was good quality and I wasn't wrong .. takes a couple of hours to take shape once out of packaging .I highly highly recommend this if your looking for a good quality topper ... look no further !At £103 for king-size and such good quality I think it's a bargain !

Never slept so good and so comfortable to be honest

I’ve never had a topper before and just thought we’d try this instead of paying out for a new mattress. Wow it’s fantastic.No smell when opened and expanded within a few hours.I suffer with degenerative disc disease so I’m always worried that things like this can flare it up, but this is great. It truly is medium hardness so has enough support while still being comfy. Both my husband and I have slept better straight away.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

I bought this several months ago, and very time I've changed the bedclothes I've forgotten to put this on. Finally I remembered and added it yesterday. Whilst my bed is very comfortable, I slept in a bed with a memory foam topper at my Brother's house and found it really helps me as I'm a side sleeper.It fit the bed perfectly, and does not raise the hight too much, although I'm quite grateful for the increase now it's on. I was able to fit all the bedclothes over and still tuck them under the mattress.I can safely say that last night was the most comfortable night's sleep I've ever had in my bed. It really does help with side sleeping. Sometimes I used to wake up with sore shoulders or hips. Because you sink into this it cushions those pressure points. I really didn't want to get out of bed.After a couple of glasses of wine I'm not afraid to leave a bad review of any product that falls short. In this case I'm very happy with my purchase and just hope it doesn't make me late for work too often!
