Bought these back in 2019 to make angel ornaments for church giveaways on Christmas Eve. All pieces were uniform, smooth, and perfect size. Ready to use. No imperfections, no breakage. They are high quality wood and takes paint well. Fast shipping. My angel is hanging in my kitchen, 6 years later still looks great.

These wooden pegs are great quality and the perfect size. I was able to paint on them easily without having to sand. I made mine into ornaments.

Great product! These were perfect for our “witch craft” activity where each person made a witch. There were no defects that I found and were made of good solid wood. Highly recommend!

I am pretty pleased with these overall. 40/50 that I got came in perfect condition to prime and paint immediately. For the price I won't let those 10 affect my final decision on these. I ordered another brand that is supposed to be here today so I'll be able to just them vs those. They are a perfect start to making Christmas presents for the whole family this year. I attached pictures of some of what I've done since I got them Thursday. However, that extra 10 (the whole reason I went with the larger pack) had splinters sticking out, holes, chips, etc. I can still use them, can fill the holes, it's just taking extra time. If you don't have the time to do this, I would look for a different product.

Love these peg dolls! I bought them years ago and only just now got them out and started using them. Love the size of these 3.5” ones. They’re mostly pretty smooth and in great condition. No splinters, easy to paint and I’m excited to give them as gifts and maybe sell some, too.

These are fantastically well-made! They are smooth without splinters. The wood is very sturdy. I have purchased these several times for my kids and for children’s art classes. Paint pens and acrylic work well on them. It is best to gesso/prime them for kids first so that they don’t have to do multiple layers of paint.

Size needed to create little nativity scenes

I've ordered these in the past and have received birch peg people. These are not "Dad Peg Dolls 2-3/8 inch | Bag of 50 Unfinished Wooden Men Peg Dolls | From Birch" as they are advertised. The ones that arrived with this re-order are a bit larger (so are completely useless to me as I make ten frames with drilled holes, so these do not fit) and are of a poorer quality of wood. They're advertised as birch, which I've received in the past, but they aren't (I'm a woodworker). These are definitely a soft wood; I suspect pine or poplar. As per the title of the product, these are supposed to be 2-3/8 inches tall. They are closer to 3". When weighed, the larger softwood peg people weight less than the smaller birch peg people I've received in the past. Definitely have to return these, and now I'm left searching for a new supplier to fulfill my orders.
