2 Set Norcold 620505PW Refrigerator Vent - Polar White

I got this to replace an old Dometic fridge vent cover that seems to no longer be made. It fit my 18" x 6" cutout. I had to drill new screw holes because it has a little wider lip and fewer screws but it fit well. The inner frame is what is screwed to the wall and it has a narrow 1/4" lip on the bottom as a rain shield. I didn't think that was sufficient so I cut a 2" tall plastic piece from flashing to sit over it and direct any water down and out. It also has no insect screen to keep bugs out of the cavity. So I cut a piece of landscape cloth I had on hand to cover the inside of the outer vent to prevent insects from making a home in there. The outer vent cover only needed a slit cut for the latches and it stays put. The outer cover doesn't fit tightly to the inner frame but I went through a thunderstorm with heavy rain and it stayed dry inside so it does the job. The slight curvature of my van wall may be at fault for this.There is a dearth of detailed info on this item, so I will supply that: This comes as 2 pieces: a frame that gets screwed and caulked to the wall, and the vent cover That fits over and around the frame.Screws are not supplied. I used a thick line of Dicor non-sag caulk all around the back of the frame edge an over the screw holes to waterproof the frame and used stainless steel screws with caulk over the top of them.The vent frame has 4 loops on the bottom and the cover has 4 corresponding hooks that you slip into them. You then push the top of the cover so the 2 black latches fit into the 2 square holes. You turn the latches to lock the cover into place. The latches have a screwdriver slot but are easy to turn by hand. Horizontal is locked.On the top inside of the cover is a 1/4" strip of plastic foam, probably to help keep water from getting in from the top.The cover protrudes about a half inch from the wall. The vent holes are large and protrude inside about an inch.The cover is 19 5/8" x 8" which is about an inch wider and taller than the old Dometic vent and it is thicker. It is made from a thicker but less brittle plastic than the Dometic.

Needed to replace a vent cover that had been slightly melted by the water heater (van up-fitter error putting things a little too close together). From reading the description I wasn't 100% these would fit my 2004 Class B van, but thought I'd take a chance. These are a perfect-fit replacement for vents with the model number 62053 molded in. Norcold says that model is obsolete; these are the replacement.

Perfect match for our 2014 Lance 855s truck camper. The new screw holes were perfectly aligned with OEM. Included frame, clips and vent. You will need to have your sealer of choice for between the frame and camper.

Exact Fit on an older Lance 855S. The old one blew off. This one will get some Velcro tape or a couple of screws.

This fits perfectly. (It looks better than the rest of our 2000 Jayco Kiwi camper. 😄)

Exact fit. My picture shows the new one on top and original cover on bottom. The top cover blew off traveling home from camping. It comes with the frame plate that gets attached to the opening on the camper, and the cover attaches to the plate. I did not need the frame plate, but it's good to have it as a spare part.
