Very cool, but…
These WWII German artillery pieces are really nice pieces to add to a toy soldier collection. The two with the shields have little knobs to turn and raise/lower the elevation of the guns, and that’s really deluxe. BUT, with seemingly only the German CTS items BMC produces in grey, I have some sort of quality issue. These guns had a black ink-like substance on them, which did not come off with Goof Off or a magic eraser. I’ve had this issue on the BMC/CTS German Halftrack as well. It seems to only be an issue with things in grey, not other colors. A real shame, and I haven’t yet found a way to remove these spots easily. Overall, a nice set, but these quality issues dissuade me from buying more grey CTS stuff (vehicles and accessories) produced by BMC.
