I got this for my nephew for Christmas. He has ASD, so it's great for that, but ALL of the kids wanted to use it! Ages ranged from 6-13 and all of the kids there had a turn and wanted more. I really loved that NO ASSEMBLY IS REQUIRED!!!! I was worried that the seat would be a little flimsy, but it wasn't at all. My nephew had a few troubles with slipping out of the seat, and keeping his legs crossed. We fixed that by using the fish tail on the seat as a kind of extension for his legs. It is dependent on momentum, so once the kiddos get a hang of it, no need to spin it. Make sure you have plenty of space so they don't land on something should they fly off (it is actually very funny as long as there is nothing for them to collide into)

My 5yo is on the spectrum and has a similar chair that he LOVES, but my 3yo has starting complaining that she doesn't have one as well, so here we are. The thing with this 'chair' is that it isn't a typical flat, center rotating chair. The seat is elliptical and its point of rotation is at an angle. By shifting your weight like you are on a swing, you can keep a spin going indefinitely. The chair is incredibly stout as the base is tube steel with rubber pads on the bottom to keep it from sliding. The seat itself is equally sturdy being thick textured plastic with well rounded edges. The bearing is very smooth and quiet. Both of my kids absolutely love these chairs and they spin on them daily. I (and they) would rate this as one of the best purchases for them.

We got this for our kids who love to spin, swing, jump, you name it. This has been so much fun for them. One of them is always on it. The frame is very sturdy steel and the seat is a hard plastic. It spins very easy and it can get spinning as fast as they can make it go, there is very little resistance in the bearing. The only problem we are having is that we don't have an adult size one. This seems super durable and made with great quality. Highly recommend!
