I am very impressed with the comprehensive emergency survival kit. Quality products in a well made backpack have us prepared when needed. First Aid, emergency shelter, blankets, sleeping bag, tools and more. Feeling very prepared.

The backpack itself is amazingly sturdy and has lots of compartments and space. In fact, there are so many straps that it is a bit confusing about how to hook everything together for easy wear. I haven't yet had time to check all that out.The contents appear carefully selected and provide a great many useful materials. In fact, there are a number of things that I just don't recognize and therefore am not sure how to use them. That leads to my choice of four rather than five stars: I strongly suggest that the kit come with a detailed list of all the items, carefully laid out by category.Ideally such a list would be formed into a sturdy and waterproof manual that could be kept with the kit and quickly consulted in case of emergency, when there likely would be no time to explore each item. This should not be a huge task, nor would it add much to the weight or storage of the many items included and would greatly improve the usefulness in a tough time. I have taken pictures from the Amazon page to display the items, to make a sort of manual for myself, so it should not be as necessary to take everything out to find an object, and have included them in my kit, but since I don't know what everything is, even the pictures will not be as big a help as I would really like.All that said, it is comforting to know that with one grab we can be out the door should a need to evacuate arise, with a solid supply of many essentials for getting by away from home!
