Is 5 years old still too young to learn how to skateboard?

How can i get the most out of these abec-11 bearings?

Good question! Firstly, there is actually no such thing as ABEC-11. The maximum bearing precision quality available is ABEC-9, so be careful when you see lookalike boards claiming to have ABEC-11. Our bearings are top quality chrome steel ABEC-9 so that you can have the best skateboard experience. You'll be able to tell the difference when you flick the wheel right out of the box and on your first rides. You can also adjust to safer speeds for beginners with the skate tool and speed caps provided. If you keep your bearings out of the rain/dirt/sand and apply bearing oil when needed, your board will last you a long time. Have fun out there! My 14 yr never skated before wants one is this a good choice

My granddaughter wanted a skateboard for a bday gift. She lives in SoCal, & getting a skateboard is a rite of passage❗️She was 10 , & a very petite. We went to skateboard shops, & the boards were to big for her. If you’re 14 yr old is tall & mature looking I would say this board may not be good for him/her. If a novice skateboarder, I would recommend this first skateboard though. It’s stylish also. Hope this helps❗️

Sweet board that will grow with my skills. And Real Instructions for us Older beginners...

I’m a (much) older beginner. Now I love the board, it’s great for my weight class, doesn’t bend too much but bends just enough, it’s sturdy, the color is nice, the wheels are smooth, and so on. But I’m just a beginner so I don’t know much about boards yet... What really really stood out for me was the instructions that came with it that explained how to adjust the trucks and wheels for beginners, the how and why of it, and how to adjust my settings as my skills progress. And it has the tool with it and, even though I thought it was silly at first, a nice bag to carry it to the park with me, because as a beginner, I have to carry it to the park still to practice and the bag has proven to be a nice item to keep the dirt from the wheels getting all over my clothes. Nice!

Would buy again

My daughter loves this board, it made it easier for her to learn to ride. It rides super smooth and surprisingly fast! My husband even enjoys riding it, and he weighs around like 170-180 lbs.
