Easy to use and effective
Needed a quick solution to black out some side windows when we moved. But these work so well I haven't bothered to get a "proper" roller blind. A word of advice: some reviews on here suggest that these are too fiddly to open and close every day because they are held by velcro. That is not true. Once you have the velcro taped to the window and the fabric is attached to it, you can tape another strip of velcro onto the TOP OF THE FABRIC itself. Then when you want some light roll the bottom of the fabric up and attach it to the velcro which you have taped on the top of the fabric! Works a treat and you get light through the bottom half of the window.

Wish I'd bought this sooner
I have been looking for a suitable window blackout solution for a while and this was just the thing. Easy to cut material to size, adhere the velcro to the window casing and then easy to put up and down each morning and night. It is the BEST blackout option I have found and I've looking for a while. Having just spent over £800 with a renowned company to install Perfect Blinds, which are supposed to be blackout and haven't worked, such a small price to pay for this simple yet effective solution is brilliant. If you want a very dark room then this is the option for you.

Works like a charm! Goodnight 3yr old!
Absolutely superb! And so so easy to install.Bought the XL as the kids have currently hidden the tape measure and it was plenty big enough for my step sons bedroom windows. Just cut it to size after sizing up. He’s never been the best sleeper and We’ve really been struggling with him waking up multiple times during the night then wanting to get up at 3 and 4 am on these light summer mornings, first night with the black out blind he slept a solid 11 & 1/2 hours (7pm - 6:30am). Now my other half and I are no longer walking around each day like zombies. Was dubious that light may still get in at the edges (doesn’t help we have a street lamp directly opposite too) but we left a 1cm overlap at the edges and his room is now fully blacked out. We already have Venetian blinds and “black out” curtains in his room so it was never really light to begin with but this black out sheet it the cherry on the cake! Best purchase ever and kicking myself that I didn’t buy it sooner.Highly recommend - it stays put all night and haven’t had any issues with it peeling away so far. For anyone out there considering this over anything else: BUY IT! You won’t regret it.

Finally, a blackout blind that works!!
I used this to block out the light in my room as I work night shift. You get one very large piece of blackout material and a large roll of sticky back velcro. I cut the material to the dimensions of my windows. Placed the velcro over my window frame then stuck the material to the velcro. It blocks out 100% of the light. My room is in total pitch black darkness. When I wake up, I have to check the time as I have no idea what time of day it is. It's only when I open my bedroom door do I know this bright daylight outside! As the material is just stuck on by velcro, you can peel some up to let in day light then when you go to bed, just fold it back down to block the light. It's so perfect :)

Not enough important information for installation
Really do like this but in preparing it there’s nothing written on the instruction to tell you to cut it wider than the Velcro bits as the sunlight creeps through the Velcro as it’s inherently textured and not flush. If I had cut it slightly larger than the Velcro we would have good blockout. Now I have to use a double blind and still have sunlight peeking through the rim of the sheet. Asked for a return but that didn’t work out. WAY overpriced for what it is but good concept.

So simple, but so good
This is such a simple product, that you could as some people say, make it yourself for a lot less. But it's simple nature is why it works so well. You get a reel of Velcro tape and a blackout blanket. That's it, nothing fancy. You stick on the velcro tape around your window, then place the blanket onto it, covering the window. You can cut the blanket down for a neater if you want, but we just left as is.Makes the room totally black and is easy to take down and put back up.Plus it can be used alongside our existing blind and curtains.A good product.

Total black out
This is so good at stopping the light when it streams through the window at the crack of dawn in the summer. One thing....you HAVE to cut it and leave a good amout of extra because if you don't, you will get little bits of light showing through the edges. Make sure you cut it bigger than the window! But as long as you do, it will block the light through the window entirely.....literally nothing! We have two in our house :-)

Highly recommended! The darkest room I ever had!!
After I browsed the internet to see what is the best product that can darken my room so I can sleep on the day, I found these. Bought it after reading some of the reviews and I regret it that I didn't find it so much long ago as I'm working night shifts and is so hard to sleep days with the sun trying to squeeze in the room which is annoying me so much. Highly recommended!! I'll give it 10 stars if I could. Losing time track with it <3 Stick and restick xoxo
