Handy little gadget that see’s far away
Greetings to all. This is my second Apexel product. My wife bought me the Apexel 10 in 1 lens kit last month. I liked it so much that I decided to give this 18x lens a try. Check out my unboxing and test video using the extended range lens. The video is long but full of test videos. The macro and wide lens work just like the one I have already from the 10 in 1 kit. They screw together for the wide view. It’s my favorite lens to use for selfie pics and I use it in my Youtube video. I’m actually using it in the start of the video below. I do not ise the Macro lens as much. I do need to learn to take more Macro pictures. The monocular is great!. I like that they added a screw in locking mechanism so the lens won’t move during use. It comes with a lens cloth, a mini flexible tripod, adjustable smartphone holder with two screw in attachment points. It also comes with a bluetooth remote shutter. Even though the paperwork didn’t state that it would work with my iphone 7 plus, It connected through Bluetooth easily and worked with the built in iphone picture and video apps. It also worked with the app Apexel mentions in their instruction manual. If you hold down the button, it will take burst shots. The lens cover for the fisheye lens is loose but not a big issue. The monocular comes with a rubber eye cup so you can use it as a stand alone monocular without needing to use the smartphone attachment. I’m having a lot of fun with this kit. It’s easy to carry or pack. If you carry it, you will use it more. I do 95 % of my video and picture taking through my iphone as I do not have high speed internet. My laptop doesn’t get used much. The 18x telephoto lens has a rubber feel to it.

could be good. wish it was better
The zoom is a decent quality and i think the over all build is of decent quality as well. it is nice that it comes with the zoom as ell as the fish eye and other lens. has a remote. i did not try the remote. my biggest issue with it, is that it does not sit well on my iPhone X. it either gives fuzzy pics because it sits at an angle on the camera or if you force it to sit flush, the corners of the pics are black because it doesn't cover the camera fully. when I force it sit flush, the pics are well zoomed and better quality than I was hoping for, except that they are black in the corners. I really wanted to be able to keep and use this but its not to be.

They're not perfect but they're pretty good and fun to play with
I have to say that for the price, I'm pretty impressed with these. I bought them because I was teaching a summer class on digital photography -- specifically using cell phones -- to high school students. I wanted them to show them different types of lenses and the kind of accessories available for them to improve their photography. The zoom lens goes pretty far but you're going to get some distortion and purple artifacts around the edges of things in your photo. But that happens with all cheap lens and I didn't expect this to compete with a good zoom lens. The wide angle probably had the least amount of distortion and did make a difference. The fisheye is mostly for fun but the students enjoyed it. The one that impressed me the most was the macro lens. I was able to take an extreme close-up of my fingerprint and other things. And when it says macro, it really means it -- you have to put your the lens no further than about an inch away from what you are photographing. It's meant to really capture closeups of things like texture. The students definitely enjoyed playing with that one. The tripod was able to fit my iPhone XS Max just fine, even with a case. The students used it for several other phones and no one had an issue with it fitting. I even tested the remote shutter button and it was pretty easy to pair it up with my phone through bluetooth. Overall, everything worked and was a great value for the price. If you are really serious about taking good photos with your phone, it helps to get some additional lenses. And while these are not professional quality, they are fun and you can get some good photos with them.

Not for the iphone 7 plus
I bought this for the telephoto and after spending two hours working with it, I must conclude that this does not work properly with the iphone 7 plus. I doubt it works with any of the plus models which have a 1X and 2X option because the telephoto cannot properly couple with the 1X lens. This will not work at all with the 2X lens. The telephoto lens does produce a picture, but the optical quality is poor and the ability to manipulate the focus ring on the telephoto is nearly impossible because the clamp will not properly hold the lens. So if you have an iphone 7, look elsewhere.

AMAZING ZOOM
I bought this product after seeing a vid about it on tiktok. It was used in a concert and I thought well since I’m going to a StrayKids concert and I’m sitting pretty far away might as well try it out. It was such a good idea and I had no problem getting it in the arena when they asked what it was ! It has amazing quality and the zoom was just too good ! I could see the members faces in which I couldn’t see in person and it just made my videos and experience so much better by being able to see more ! Some things I will say is that it is shaky but u can always stable the video on the app CapCut ! Also it is a bit of a pain adjusting especially in a concert where it’s so fast paced in where sometimes I wanted to put it on or take it off depending on what I was recording! Overall I don’t regret this purchase!

The only usable part is the tripod
I have wanted a telephoto lens for my smartphone for some time and was excited to see this lightning deal, so I acted quickly and ordered it. The packaging was nice enough as I opened it, and I took out the telephoto lens first. It attaches to a plastic clip which then attaches to your phone. As I rotate the telephoto lens onto the clip - SNAP- part of the clip breaks. I shrug it off, could probably fix it with gorilla glue. The best I can, I attempt to line up the lens with my phone's lens (I have an LG G6). I don't know if it's because the clip snapped or the lens doesn't agree with my phone's, but it was essentially useless - I couldn't get anything across the room into focus. The other lenses seemed okay, I tried both and got a black outline around the images. The tripod is the only reason this gets 2 stars. The holder can be attached to the tripod either on the side or the bottom, it expands enough to hold my phone, even with a popsocket on the back. I tested how well the tripod's legs could wrap around something, like the leg of a chair, and they did quite well.

Excellent product and value
Is perfect for exploring more advanced mobile photography and Videography It works on most mobile phones. Suggestions: Maybe create a new lens, different angle A phone lens kit that will provide you an extraordinary experience to capture wonderful moments in your life. My son had been starting to really love taking pictures with her phone so I got her this so she could take even better ones. She has really loved playing around with the different lenses and taking beautiful pictures. They screw off and on the clamp very easily and attach to her phone flawlessly. He has a IPhone X.

All in all, I think it’s a pretty good investment!
I love the zoom on the telescope attachments, but make sure your subject is far enough away when you’re taking pictures. It is a bit on the heavy side, so make sure you have a good grip on your phone. (I wish it worked with the case on 😕) When using the fish eye lens, if you have the tripod attached, you see it in the pictures sometimes, along with your hand when you’re holding it. Total bummer there, but the pictures turn out pretty good! I haven’t used much of the macro/wide lenses yet, but I’m slowly getting there! Make sure you have all natural lighting, as you cannot use your flash with these attachments.
