If you can find a straight and true one best hammer for weight and use
Purchased this framing hammer a couple years ago from a reputable source.Multiple hammers were purchased from this supplier as each one was returned due to the head and shaft twisted slightly making the hammer unbalanced. If you can find one that is straight and true then it s the best you'll find and use. Unfortunately I was unable to find one aWithout paying a astronomical amounts of money. Currently using an alternative estwing ultra alternative but nowhere near as good as a straight and true v5.

As a proffesional carpenter I wanted a longer than normal hammer,and the head appealed to me for getting in close to brickwork etc. Side puller works great, straight claw is nice and sharp.Fantastic tool.
