I bought this after purchasing and returning another buffer/polisher because it was too heavy! I refinish furniture and this polisher is great! It’s not too heavy, it’s not too expensive and it has multiple heads and speeds. It doesn’t get hot even when I use it for a while. I’m just starting to polish painted high gloss furniture (painted with urethane high gloss paint) and I can achieve a mirror like finish. Very happy with this item!

Used this to 3 step my 2008 Element. I have used high speed buffers in the past but wanted to give an orbital a go. This worked great at high and low speeds and I've been very happy so far. I've done 3 vehicles, at least 2 stops each and it's feeling good and still running smooth. Great for the weekend warrior.

1), Very noisy. i am working in open garage and my wife, almost 200 feet away, in her bedroom, can hear the noise. Loud and loude machine2). Button is stiff. You have to work as hard with the button to move it forward or backwar as the machine itself. I could not move it while on the car, so I had to lift it to stop, and sure enough, white polish sprinke everywhere. Terribel button3). If you put little pressure on the machine to remove the dirt or scratches well, it feels like the pad is not rotating at all. I can still hear the sound, but I feel like the pad is stationey.All in all not happy. I just used it on the hood, I will give it one or two more tries, and may be return it within the 30 days return period.
