This hidden safe is a realistic design--in fact it looks like the manufacturer repurposed a real charger case with minimal modification. There are two tales, other than the weight potentially being a giveaway: The prongs do not have holes in their tips, and if somebody were to try to actually plug in a cable, it would be obvious that there are no electroncis in the hole. Other than that, it could lie in plain sight among other electronics and not look out of place.Being accurately scaled, the compartment isn't big enough to just fold bills in half, if money is what you want to hide; you'd have to fold them smaller, but you could still fit several large-denomination bills if you wanted to use it as a cash stash.

There are no instructions on how to open it. Eventually I used a knife in the seam to pry it open. This is eventually going to scratch it up and even break it, and I'm likely to cut myself. As others have said, the power cord is so short you might as well put a sign on it that says FAKE. It also needs to be heavier. That said, it looks like a great way to hide a little cash or a couple of keys. Maybe even a thumbdrive with a spare copy of your passwords. Make certain whatever is inside doesn't rattle around. If it gets stolen, most likely it will be thrown away for not working. Better than the bad guys finding it. Should be some fake info on the flat spot under the wall plug, to make it look realistic. Voltage, amperage, manufacturer, some fake certifications.

Short cord but good for hiding a few dollars

Cheap item and a dollar bill does not fit unless folded in quarters. Would never pass as a usb charger. Waste of money

Very cool very incognito!! FYI every time you open it the wire falls out. It sits in a groove pocket so after picking up the wire from the floor for the 10th time I hot glued it so it stays put, easy fix;) get yourself one I recommend it:)

the concept is great, but the cord is only 2" long ( not as pictured) and not glued in. You will need to salvage a cord from something else and then glue into place. works well other than that

This is a real cool item. Definitely looks like a real charger.I did take apart an old charger and took the cable off and used it in this. The cable that comes with this is only a few inches long. I hot melt glued the old one in place so it won't fall out.I knew when I ordered this that it wasn't going to be very big, and the volume is quite small. A 1/4 cup measuring cup filled with water was a few drops too much to fit inside this, but I would say the volume is pretty much 1/4 cup.If you are into "Entomology" (the scientific study of insects) then I would say you could fit quite a few "roaches" inside thisI love this, it is both funny and useful.
