No, the pan is not dishwasher safe. Only use pan on low or medium heat. Do not use pan on high heat. Let pan heat on low for about 1 min or so before cooking in pan. Running the pan through the dishwasher will ruin the nonstick coating. Using high heat on pan will ruin the nonstick coating. Only use silicone or wooden utensils with pan, i dont use nylon utensils. Handwash pan only. Very nice pan though. Heats fairly quick on low heat compared to d5 stainless steel pan

Your only supposed to use the pan on med heat. Would not recommend boiling eggs in pan, it would likely ruin the non stick surface.

It doesn’t come with a lid, I not sure if they sell lids, and I wouldn’t boil eggs in this pan because it’s not deep enough, they do have deeper pots for you too boil eggs in, this is more of a pan you fry eggs in.
