K&F CONCEPT 67mm Black Diffusion 1/2 Filter Mist Cinematic Effect Filter with 18 Multi-Layer Coatings for Video/Vlog/Portrait Photography (K-Series)

Works as intended. This is my first Black Mist filter. I will have to get the 1/4 and 1/8 as well. Can't weight to see all the creative ideas I can use this with.

Works amazing! It softens the image and is super easy to use! I used step up rings for my Sony a6400 and it looks very dreamy! The auto focus gets thrown off a little but it still works and makes clear images! For the price, it is 100% worth getting to make creative and dreamy looking photos! If it doesn’t fit your camera, you can always get step up or step down rings to fit your camera lens size! I usually get bigger filter sizes so I can use the same filter on different lenses. I took a photo of my kitten, it doesn’t show the effect in its fullest since I have a black kitty, but it still shows the dreamy effect in the background, it makes the images softer.

This diffusion filter A Must-Have for Creative Photography has been an awesome addition to my kit. It softens highlights and gives my photos this beautiful, cinematic vibe that’s hard to achieve otherwise. I’ve been experimenting with it for portraits and creative shots, and it’s opened up so many new possibilities in my workflow. It’s easy to use and feels well-made, so I don’t have to worry about it while shooting. If you’re looking for something to elevate your photos and push your creativity, this is definitely worth picking up.

Update: I revised my rating due to customer service reaching out to remedy the issue below. This filter compromises your cameras ability to focus. I’m a professional photographer (for 9 years). I’ve had many black mist filters and none of them have been as poorly constructed as this one. I use this filter for that soft glow, so that is not what I’m referring to. I did two shoots with this filter with each having about 1000 photos. 70% of my shots were out of focus and many I was not able to use at all. Very disappointing. I would not recommend this filter.

I love this filter! Been using it for street photography after dark, it really makes light sources pop in a unique way that can really enhance your photos. It's wonderful for portraits, softening light and skin. For the price it is well worth it!

Very high-quality, gave me the look I was looking for on my film.
