Mine has been good so far.
I have ran rocks for about 12 days 24/7. So far it works well. I have seen reviews of them smoking, but mine is fine. Just pay attention for the first few hours I guess. Pay attention on the barrel on the power switch side, my nut came unscrewed and my barrel leaked a little. I caught it early and cleaned it up. Worth it to me if it's one of the ones that works.

WOW, WHAT A MACHINE.
I BOUGHT AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR DAUGHTER.. SHE HAD IT RUNNING FOR 10 DAYS NON STOP. NEVER FAULTERED ONCE. IT STARTED MAKING A SCREECHING NOESE. I TOOK OFF THE CHROME ENDCAPS AND FILLED WITH VACELINE. FROM THENON NO SCREECHING. SHE RAN IT SO MUCH SHE WORE A HOLE IN THE RUBBER END CAPS. WOULD LEAK WATER. WE SEALED THE HOLES AND WORKS AS IT SHOULD. SHE IS VERY HAPP WITH THE MACHINE. I LIKE IT CAUSE THE MOTOR IS AN AC MOTOR NOT A SMALL DC WITH A POWER PACK LIKE HER FIRST MACHINE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS ONE HIGHLY..

Updated: I posted 1-star review, Seller responded quickly, offered full refund, promised to improve
This seller stands behind their product -- which was good to see after I was forced to leave a 1-star review as my only way to reach them. They responded quickly to my initial review, offered a full refund of my purchase price (which I have since received). I said that I would change my review but that they had to take the model off of the market and make my suggested improvements. The fact that this seller reads reviews of their product -- and, encountering a bad one, responds quickly says something positive about the seller. Here is what I experienced -- along with my suggestions to improve the tumbler. 1. The Seller needs to make it easier to contact them -- and can start by including, at a minimum, an email address. The email address needs to be included in the manual and on the customer service card that came with the tumbler. Contact information should also be readily available on the product page and the seller's page. When I ran into trouble with the tumbler and wanted to contact the seller, nowhere -- and I mean _nowhere_ -- on the tumbler, the manual or their seller's amazon page is a phone number, email address and/or website listed. (Their documents implore you to reach out to them if you have a problem -- but provide no means to do so.) I even called amazon customer support for assistance contacting the seller -- and they were unable to assist me! 2. When on a level surface, the tumbler needs to have more effective means of keeping the barrel on the rollers and from migrating backward and forward and thus rubbing against the tumbler. Why? Because from the beginning, when the tumbler was turned on, the barrel would migrate toward the back of the tumbler despite the tumbler being on a level surface. The barrel would scrape against the 2 metal plates that are protecting the motor and belt mechanism; this caused damage to the bottom of the barrel. Since the tumbler seemed otherwise solidly constructed, I solved this problem by elevating the back of the tumbler. This worked for about 9 months -- except that I had to keep elevating the back of the tumbler more and more. At month 10, the barrel started skipping and making a horrible sound -- and despite the incline or whether the barrel was empty or had rocks in it, the barrel kept moving backward in the tumbler. Then it started jumping (see video) -- and making more odd noises. As you can see from the photos and video, there was plenty of damage to the barrel and tumbler. 3. Make the belt easy to replace -- and include detailed printed and video instructions. (It is very rare that a tumbler comes with so many replacement belts. This one came with 5. Kudos to the seller.) Continuing my story: At this 10-month point, I thought I'd change the belt. Instructions for changing the belt, video or otherwise, were not provided. But with a full parts diagram included in the manual, I thought I would try to replace the belt. This ended in failure: after carefully and slowly taking things apart, I got to a point of realizing that there was no way I was going to get the tumbler put back together properly. I then looked for a way to contact the seller -- and found that the only way to reach out was to leave a review, one that accurately reflected my experience. Again, there are things to like about this tumbler: it is fairly quiet compared to 2 others I own; the construction is solid; the tumbling speed is really good (most tumblers are much too fast, even on their slowest speed!); the tumbler has 1 on/off rocker switch and no other controls and I like this simplicity (if the power goes out the tumbler will come back on with the power); it is a good value for the money -- even better if the seller uses my input to improve their product and service.

Very good with 1 little problem.
Machine seems sturdy. It is quiet and seals up very well. Problem: Even with the end raised 1/2 inch, the barrel moves uphill until the bottom of the barrel rubs against the cooling fins located above the motor. It will not stay centered in the Barrel well. In 3 hours of running the bottom of the barrel is noticeably worn.

Not a long term machine for something that takes time to do.
I purchased this in April of 2022 and beginning of may 2023 it is now dead. Rock tumbling takes time. About 1 to 2 months per batch, through all its various stages. I performed weekly maintenance on this machine by cleaning the plastic covers on the rods and re-lubricating religiously. It does come pre-lubed but would advise adding more to it and working it in before adding a load to it. It would never level the cans properly to keep centered in the machine. I attempted to tune the cans to keep them from shifting. However, they would just crawl to one side regardless. The tabs on the side do not help keep centered. Once they contact the tab it eats away at the tab via friction and also adds to the amount of noise it makes. Once the cans shift towards the heat fins they will just grind away and the knobs and make a fairly loud constant squeal while it runs. The "bearings" that hold the rods the barrels ride on are plastic and have failed. Even with routine lubrication it does not stop the weight of the barrels eating the plastic that retains the rods they ride on. This is not a long term machine. My suggestion to the manufacture is to really take a good look at where this has the points of friction and upgrade those parts to something that can displace that load in a better fashion. Metal bearings would be the first thing I would start off with. On a good note It included 5 belts and only broke one when it finally failed.

Great!
This thing is rad! I've had it running non stop since I bought it in May 2025. So 5 months now. Still going strong! It's waaaay cheaper than the other name brand tumblers, but it is worth every penny so far! Just fill your barrels plug it in and flick the switch. Off to the races! The kids are having a blast seeing the rocks after every grit too. Makes for a good time! Obviously it's noisy, put it in your garage.

An oddly satisfying new hobby and a nice machine to do it with!
Love this! Super easy to use and easy to follow instructions. Good speed, isn’t too fast to bruise rocks as long as you separate by hardness and follow instructions. Comes with starter rocks in a nice selection, grit, and has been a fun start to a new hobby. Balanced weight well with 2 canisters running and so far my tumbled rocks are turning out smooth and good looking following the provided directions.
