This tablet holder is great and really sturdy but is probably better suited for a caravan / home / truck / boat than for a car. The reason I say this is that the base is fixed in place by screws so in a car you would need to be sure that whatever you are fixing to is robust enough to take the load of the weight of the tablet without pulling the screws out. I have mine mounted tot he wall at the side of my 3D printer and it works really well - it's adjustable to where i need it and says in place nicely. It's well made and easy to install with plenty of adjustability.
