I am absolutely in love with the BLINKEEN Heatless Curling Scrunchie! This innovative hair tool has completely transformed my hairstyling routine. A friend had the name brand version of this product and I wanted to give it a try - but I didn't want to spend $30+. Enter the "BLINKEEN Heatless Curling Scrunchie, Heatless Hair Curler to Sleep In, No Heat Curls for Long Hair, Soft Sleep Hair Roller (Black)". For just a third of the price, I decided to give it a try. I've used it once. I have medium length, fine hair, and a lot of it. I showered, dried my hair 99% of the way, and then wrapped it in the scrunchie, and went to bed. Pros: Easy enough to figure out how to wrap my hair; stayed in overnight, totally fine comfort-wise to sleep in; left me with some nice waves/volume the next day. Cons: Smoothing product absolutely required (which I didn't have/use). The curls were nice, but a little frizzy - very clearly NOT from a heated tool, which is fine, but they didn't give me a polished-enough look that I felt was acceptable for a professional workplace. I will find some smoothing product and apply that to my hair before giving this a try again - I'll update here if I get better results :)

I love this sleep scrunchie! I have looked at the name brand one, which is similar, but didn’t want to spend a ton of money on something that might not work for my hair. I had already tried the flexi rods and found them bulky and annoying to secure and sleep in. But this scrunchie worked great. I have long fine straight/slightly wavy hair. I found that turning my head upside down to wrap my hair around the thin part of the band, and then standing up to figure 8 the big poofey part around the bun resulted in a secure hold for the whole night. Make sure the bun is close to the front of your head for sleeping. You don’t want it to push or pull on your pillow. The curls in the morning are gorgeous, but I have fine hair that doesn’t hold curls well, so I lightly misted with hair spray to hold the curl in longer.

This product has transformed my hair game. I do wish the thicker part was a little bit thicker (I have medium hair). I find it easy to sleep in, and to use. For the price, I would recommend.

This is an awesome product! It’s the only heatless curling product I’ve purchased that created curls that I actually felt like I could wear in public. The only thing is that unless you figure out how to wrap different sections in different directions, one side of your head is gonna be curled towards your face (maybe I’m just stupid and there’s an easier way to avoid this). I’m writing this after only my first use and the application was awkward but manageable. I can only assume it’ll get easier after a couple more practice rounds. It was very secure and comfortable to sleep in overnight. I’m halfway through my day and the curls have relaxed beautifully but are still holding their shape. I do have naturally textured hair that holds curls well. I’m not sure that this would work on straight hair, unless it was just being used to preserve a blowout overnight. Overall, I highly recommend it- especially for the price!

This has worked perfectly for me! It allows me to put the button really high up on my head, so it doesn’t disturb me while I’m sleeping, other ways of heatless curling will create more bulk around your head, which can be uncomfortable, especially if you have neck problems. This gets completely out of the way, I brushed my hair with a brush that’s been slightly moistened before wrapping it up and then in the morning when it’s dry, it produces the best curls!

My hair kept falling out after a few minutes and I had a hard time getting the very bottom of my hair to even wrap around. I have a lot of hair and it is pretty soft/fine so I think this just isn’t the right product for my hair type. The buns looked like this but then a minute later popped out. I feel like maybe if it had a layer of fabric to go over the bun it might stay better.

I have thick, long hair and have used the single heatless curler and the individual heatless curlers but I don’t sleep well with either. This, however, is super practical and very effective! Plus, unlike the other types of heatless curlers, I truly feel like I could wear this in public without looking like I was doing anything different with my hair. The photo was taken right after removing the scrunchie, before any other styling.
